After 1 month of building this beast I'm proud to present Dug's build that is completely modular, has 1 l-motor to raise the rear wheels and 2 m-Motors to raise front wheel 5 studs higher, 1 servo for steering and 2 XL motors for drive, working V8 and fan at the engine. Designing and creating this truck was the most satisfying so far. Hope you enjoy!

@vitreolum Awesome build of an awesome person, may he rest in peace. Funny I was actually listening to Starman when I opened this thread.

^With all the hype, I thought this castle would be more impressive. ;)

That kid has a future! That stream really rocks! Can I got an LDD of it? ;-)
  • woony2woony2 Member Posts: 336
@ecmo47 do you mean my lads stream on the previous page. If so, thank you, it is at his school on display at the moment, he will be bringing it back this week or early next week. Once I have it back I'll see if I can dismantle it backwards and ldd it as I go. I know there are some very random pieces under it as filler.

Looks like I didn't refresh my screen before posting, but yes that complement was meant for your son's build. I was just kidding about the LDD. Poor attempt at self-depreciating humor.

This is a 1:8 scale model of an all electric, three seat, "baby" Porsche concept car made for the rebrick competition. In real life it would be exactly the same size as the original 911. It was inspired by Ferry Porsche's Typ 52 three seat sports car from 1933, the Mission E concept from 2015 and many Porsches in between.

^ Wonderful moc @JamesJT . It's got a delicacy to it that most modern sports cars lack, and the 4ws the Porsche set should have had!  Love all the classic styling cues from various Porsches, making a pleasing whole.

Finally finished my chess set MOC! Hadn't gotten around to designing the king and queen until just now.
    http://www.mediafire.com/view/4ia1tpi9bqrpsod/9902_Chess.jpg

I decided on 2x2x2 cone and 2 2x2 slopes for the king and a 1x1 cone with a 2x2 plate for the queen. I used stacks of 2x2's for piece bodies
Blue instead of black is because I have lots of leftovers from my US flag project. The squares are reddish brown and light bley because that's what PaB had and it looked better than the black and red I had in quantity.

@LegoPegasister2015 Awesome! Are you planning on building it with real bricks?

It'd be expensive and I have to check on a couple of part's existence. Can't say right now.

Ugh, tell me about it, that bit's the worst, even the normal LDD which is supposed to be all real parts has non-existent parts!

Oh, and I didn't notice they added in the new books.

@LittleLori What is the gun piece used on the vintage machine? Is it Brickarms or something?
  • RebelegoRebelego Member Posts: 171
@bobabricks I think that might be a drill.

I was going to say Spanner or Screwdriver.
The modern one seems to have good use of an Ice Skate. :)

It isn't in that new tool set or the old tool wheel so I have no clue where it's from, first time I've been stumped on a part. :/

@bobabricks I must confess, I am not sure about the piece. It was in the black piece bin in our collection. If it is not Lego, it may be from MB as as once we had a MB Transfomer set because it does look more like a gun then a drill. I thought it was a drill when I was building.

Can't be - drill handles are angled, and this is 90 degrees (or almost). I think it looks a bit like a SW blaster, but Bricklink hasn't been helpful.

Regarding Littleloris drill/gun piece - something in the back of brain is screaming Kreo Transformers...there's also something screaming cinnamon rolls but I believe this to be unrelated...

^ Tip of the day - if anyone is thinking that the gun is cool because it looks just like an UZI with a silencer, DON'T use it with your mini figs because it WILL warp (or in the case of CMF's - snap) mini fig hands!

I made a Ripsaw with 4 RC Train Motors. It is very fast (for a lego model) and a lot of fun to slide about. It works on carpet too.

Great model @Loxlego . I really like the authentic rear suspension, and it looks tidier than 42056. We've been trying to reduce the load time of this page as there's a lot of images - can you maybe trim down the next one you post a bit ? I used to post loads of images too but it does get annoying waiting for the page to load so I only do 1 or 2 now and link to the rest on Flickr / MOCpages if necessary.

    Nice nuclear mushroom cloud.
Impressive use of a cmf chef hat and a collar ruff.
The forced perspective is pretty good too.
