My Winter Village English Castle Keep, as found on LEGO Ideas (re-posting because I finally took some pictures of the built model):

    https://ideas.lego.com/projects/88167

Currently working on converting it to an Anglican Church, the original intent of the piece.

ecmo47 The first one's inspired by necronomicon ex mortis. Wanted to make the potter one as well, maybe I'll get to it some day. Yep on the second.

Here are some of my four year old brother's best creations over the past few months. I didn't help or give any import; it's all his own independent work :)

Modified it already.  I added ladders to the rear and added a battery box and air tank instead of the vent elements.  Makes it look more accurate to the ATSF caboose.

My friend is an avid SW collector.
And I wanted to make her a bespoke sign to go with her display.

I've heard about LDD on this forum and wanted to give it a try.
So here is my first ever design on LDD. It's nothing fancy at all, basically a Lego puzzle when you think about it. But it's pretty much what she was looking for.

I'm sure I could have built this in a more efficient way, but this is what I've got so far!
Not sure how expensive this would come up, but I need to learn how to BL things, so was thinking about trying to BL this.

(I've also attached the original image I based it on)

    @vitreolum Slenderman! Awesome and creepy!
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
@vitreolum were you really going for Slenderman or was the similarity just coincidental?
  • vitreolumvitreolum Member Posts: 1,406
No coincidence, that bith head seemed fit for slenderman.

I've just been interviewed about my latest MOC over at http://zusammengebaut.com/huw-millington-brickton-moc-lego-city-train-layout-interview-1951/

It can't hold a candle to many of the MOCs in the thread here but I'm quite happy with it and it went down well at Bricktastic.

I really like you station.  So much so, I'm copying it as it's much better than the model I've designed on LDD.  And that Victorian terrace is delightful - although I am very disappointed to see that a landlord has failed to keep his property in use.

Thank you :) The house was boarded up to make it look familiar to those visiting to see it at Bricktastic in Manchester last month ;)

Huw. Very nice model railroad.   Seeing LEGO train layouts at model railroad meets is what got me back into LEGO.   Good work!

Built a few weeks ago for my LUG contest. Rules were to take a single set $60 value or less and build something different. I took the Orc Forge and built an Uruk-Hai Fighter. Two orcs man the cockpit.

BIG changes for my basement layout.  Covered over my HO layout to make more room for Lego.  I have some shots of the before and after below.  With the changes I have went from about a 32' mainline to a 82'+ mainline!!!  Also have a siding now, port spike, and a switching yard.  It will also allow for more modular buildings and better usage of my old monorail.  More track is on order!

^ I once posted a Ferrari F1 car on Ideas that got a sum total of 17 votes in 365 days.  Which I'll admit damn well annoyed me, given some truly appalling proposals which shouldn't even be allowed anywhere near the site often reach (or pass) 50 and even 100 votes.

Very nice, I like very much the side pods solution. But submitting a Ferrari on Ideas is like submitting a city fire truck.

@Adzbadboy, loving the Lego store display pieces, either going to have to MOC a Lego shop or hope TLG releases another version of #40145 at some point soon.

@RevBlues, tell me about, there are some really questionable things on Ideas, but somehow they get votes, the worst is those that clearly break the rules.

Hey Everyone, I just submitted an MOC on Lego ideas and I'm seeing if I can rally enough support to have Lego build it! It's the Hunt for the white whale, basically recreating a scene from Moby Dick. If any of you guys have a moment please click on the link and support my project!  https://ideas.lego.com/projects/117560

    Thanks!

No you are correct. I used it as a frame of reference for the ship. I am primarily focused on the whale for this project, since I figure if it does go through Lego is going to come up with their own ship for price purposes. The way I see it is the whale and the boat would be too expensive. So I just have the boat as more of a backdrop to the whole thing

@vitreolum that Asterix MOC is fantastic, that deserves to be made into a set, If you decide to go down the ideas route with that I am sure you would get the votes, easily my favourite of your many creations, thanks for sharing.

I've been wondering what that Ideas thing was all about.  Thanks for the explanation.

Thanks but the techniques I've used would not really work in a set.
  • VorpalRyuVorpalRyu Member Posts: 2,318
^ If you do go down the Lego Ideas route with that MOC, make that two supporters, but I can understand not wanting to go down that path again... With the struggles I've had with my project, I'm still trying to figure out how most those who got the 10,000, got there.
  • vitreolumvitreolum Member Posts: 1,406
At the rate monkey island is moving, I'd probably need 8 years to get the supporters. :))
