Nope, no art background.
Dr Gearenstein's Lightning Cannon, built to help defend the world from the SkyPirates.
The Millennium Falcon, SteamPunk edition.
Slave I, SteamPunk edition.
I was thinking about the @LordofLego part usage contests and I saw the pile of mugs in different colors that my daughter has sorted. So I wanted to try my hand at doing something that is non-beverage related and I made this micro shuttle-ship.
PS: My kids each have a life-sized mug (1 red, 1 blue) that they love.

Let me try that again. This is a kitchen I built based on the on from the Friends Olivia's House set before we moved out of the US. Recently found it while unpacking LEGO boxes. Now I just need to put some people in there cooking...
Can someone please delete the earlier post?
The illegal use of the swords is just wild.
May I ask how long you've been creating MOCs? :)
I've started mocing somewhere last year.
Star Trek is not a Lego license so, unfortunately you can not post Star Trek on the ideas site.
This model of the original series bridge builds up approx 200 mm across - ideal for the office desk :) and you have the option of building lower profile walls to get an eye level view into the model. The model needs a lot of printed pieces but I think it would be worth the cost.
I hope you like it.
The plan was to present this as a project and suggest printed parts rather than stickers. I had high hopes for the project.
sorry if I'd mislead you or anyone else. With the backing of the lego group, I think it could have been a great set.
But it's cool either way.
Winter Candy Shop
Wizard's Camp
Great build!!
Several sets gave their lives for this: #70165 (the Mission HQ truck), #70169 (Stealth Patrol, the off-roader) and #70162 (Infearno Interception, the roadster) from UA, as well as #76016 (Spidey's helicopter) for the 'nose', plus it was a good excuse to get the silly thing off display, and the front canopy from #76021 (the Milano, which fortunately looks just fine with the Spideycopter's smoky grey windscreen, since the Milano is one I do want to keep on display).
The body still opens up like the trailer used to (although it doesn't have the side swinging down, just the top opening) since I like the whole interior detail thing, and on that note I went all extravagant and included work areas and living quarters for the four-minifig crew I threw together; there's also Sasha's bike 'Hanzo' (stripped down and rebuilt from the one in #71064 Hurricane Heist) stowed in a bay under the rear floor, which it can drive into from behind the truck, and Bella's sky gunner aircraft built into the roof. Yes I named them all while I was working, shush. (The commander/driver is Ky, and the tech lady is Cray.)
More show-off photos (cuz it's not often I build something this big):

Have plans to build something out of those 24 different Atlantis sets I have but from what I remember, they were mostly small vehicles.
Is this the Trojan Horse? Great use of the 2x4 wedge to represent the waves breaking on the beach!
