No so much a MOC but a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to go to the world premier of Game Of Thrones season five at the Townes of london, so to commemorate the trip I added a little lego magic to the ticket and framed it up :) it will now live on my desk at work.

This is admittedly a bad picture but over the weekend I built a skycrane. Between it and the tripod holding it up there is a line and hook to carry stuff with.

Never seen one here in the states.  Heck we just now (about a year or 2) got Fiat.  Those sound tiny though.

^ Saw that on flickr, but I didn't notice the mf scale fries before. Just brilliant use of crystal.

Ha, thanks, but I can't claim credit - it's actually used for fries in #41058 Heartlake Shopping Mall

@Big_Sal, awesome stuff, especially the use of the Classic King, got any plans to do one for the Hot Dog guy?

@Big_Sal Just finished #10244 Fairground-Mixer last night and those food stands would look great with it!

Thanks both! As it happens, my LUG is thinking about a theme park display, and someone else has already staked a claim to the hot dog stand. I want to build a drinks stand next but haven't quite figured out how to get the shaping of the cup right...
  • ecmo47ecmo47 North CarolinaMember Posts: 2,094

^ How about just making the top rim of the cup with 2 layers of 4x4 Macaroni pieces, fill it with trans-orange 1x1 rounds (orange soda) and some Trans-clear 2x2 bricks (ice) with two straws sticking out of it?

Love your 2 designs! Small, eye-catching and fun! I’m surprise some European hasn’t commented on the lack of a mayo dispenser for the fries.

@ecmo47 Thanks! It's not the top that's the problem, it's the smooth upwards sloping circular sides of the cup that I haven't got the right solution for yet.

@vitreolum - ^^ Is the gray border a separate build? What I mean is, did you build the scene and then plop into the gray base or is it all one build? Does that make sense?
  • vitreolumvitreolum RomaniaMember Posts: 1,406
It's not separate, it's built on gray plates. The border and walls are connected to the plates, the floor is snotted and not connected.

Hate to criticize an excellent build but the minifigs throw everything out of proportion for me. I think it's because the old-fashion TV is too big.

The TV, the shelf, the cupboard, pretty much everything is too big for the figs haha.

Nice job there @vitreolum, especially the greenery & Jar Jar's face.

It is a true measure of an artist in how they manage to elevate their source material, no matter how obscene or vomit-inducing.  Good job @vitreolum :)
