Ok, I've uploaded the LDD files, both complete and by floor, and an LDraw MPD file as well. Also, there are PDFs and a part list generated from the LDD and LDraw files in various formats. The full PDF instructions are not great as the colours aren't the best but the individual floors are done differently and look better.

Also, I would recommend the LDraw file/instructions over LDD just because there's a few mistakes in there and I couldn't seem to fix them. as good as LDD is, it sucks sometimes. Only thing of note is the desks on the top floor should have 2x2 tiles with the window print on them. Also, the ground floor 16x16 plates could easily be changed out for a standard 32x32 baseplate.

Here's the link to the google drive share.

    A badge well earned @TechnicNick!

Shouldn't it be posted on his profile page though?

Looks like we may have hit a temporary lull...if there's nothing more to judge this week, I suggest that entries and judging panel be held over until the end of next week, to give people time to submit any unready entries. What do you think?

    ^Yes.
  • graphitegraphite USMember Posts: 3,239
Should just hold up judging till there are like 5 entries and not have it time based. Not everyone MOCs and some take longer than others. Don't think we have a big enough MOC membership to pull of a ton of them every week.

@carlq - Absolutely right, wait as many weeks as necessary until there are perhaps five MOCs?

Edit: Looks like @graphite got there first :o)

How do you upload pics in a comment I keep getting the word image
  • JosephJoseph Member Posts: 651
^ If you've already uploaded them to another site, you can insert them via the little image button. Otherwise you can attach them by selecting the "attach a file" option.

@GothamConstructionCo - Well I am excited now! That is a really nice shot by the way, the orange lighting looks great and the shadowy effect works perfectly.

Thanks @CapnRex101‌. The lighting is from a light brick and the shadowy effects are down to a phone camera ;-)

Oh, and if anyone is wondering why we haven't announced a winner tomorrow, we have decided to wait another week to give people a little more time to post their MOCs.

Oh, that is just gorgeous, Nick! If you ever manage to put together build instructions (or just a list of parts required and photos from all directions), put me down as the first person to buy them from you! :-)

Thanks @carlq Apart from the curved 2x4 plates and a few tiles all the bricks were from PAB walls. I really should of dusted it first though :-/

You know, your collection of classic movies is almost more impressive than the LEGO! Gotta love My Cousin Vinny, Naked Gun, Crocodile Dundee, and Blazing Saddles!

(But the rooftop does look good, well done.)

That made me remember when I was about 14 and bored, I re arranged all my LP's into colour order, it took hours and then the next day put them back to alphabetical artist order as I couldn't find anything.
The roof top is a great idea and my daughter has a similiar unit in her room, may have to try a Harry Potter version for her.

Love the moody shadow shot of Batman @GothamConstructionCo

I also thought it would suddenly be quite different when viewed with this sound effect... (Have the moody 'batman in shadows' teaser image on screen, before pressing play)

    :oD

Sorry, it just had to be done... well, OK, it didn't have to be, but...

@legomatt‌, that's hysterical...but you DO realise your entire audience had to dash off to the loo immediately afterwards, don't you? ;-)

@bobabricks‌ - depends whether the picture you want to post is on your computer on somewhere on the internet (say, you're linking to Flickr or something).

In case 1, click "Attach a file" (below the text field, at the left). In case 2, click the "image" button at the top of the text field (looks like a photo of a tree, next to bold, italics and so on). I think that's how you do it, at least. I've only done it once or twice.
  • bobabricksbobabricks Vancouver, BC, CanadaMember Posts: 1,836
@plasmodium Thank you! I've been using the image button for pics on my computer and I never noticed the attach file button below :P
