"Let's race to the finish line!"
So I made a UCS Landspeeder instead.
It's inspired by the early #857 Technical set, with added suspension, details and blackness.
It's an old build; the stuff I'm building right now is for a company who's paying me for the pleasure :-))) - but I can't show it yet.
Its a frog in case you can't tell what it is :oP
This 'Neo-Classic Space' MOC is a mini model based on my 'Neo-Classic Space AZ-96 Podracer' which can be found here: https://flic.kr/p/otdA2Y
Fun Fact: 'AZ' is my initials and '96' is my year of birth: 1996.
This was inspired by Chris McVeigh's (Powerpig) brick sketches.
This is the 3rd MOC I created and I enjoyed building it very much. If someone else is interested in building it, the MOC was also submitted on rebrickable and will be available soon.
Leg Godt!
Scene from James Cameron's 1986 movie 'Aliens'.
The crew of the Sulaco in hypersleep, en route to LV426.
"Man, this floor is freezing!"
"What about it Hudson, want me to fetch your slippers for you?"
"Gee, would you Sarge, I'd really appreciate it!"
"Look into my eye..."
Aliens is one of my favorite movies!
Nice MOC, and that's a great angle for the shot, makes it seem like we're right inside the ship. Do I spot a mirrored wall near the back?
"Game over man! Game over!"
If there's one thing I learnt from this render - it's don't try using 140 light sources on a model that uses over 900 elements, including over 100 transparent ones, with 120 light sources on the fire whip alone. It takes forever to render then even at the lowest quality :-)
A version built with real bricks is coming relatively soon, I still need to start making the BL orders for it.

This Neo-Classic Space MOC is inspired by Star Wars speeders. I tried to stay true to the aesthetics to the Classic Space and Neo Classic Space sets by keeping the MOC Bright Blue, Light Stone Grey, Trans Yellow and Trans Red.
Fun Fact: 'AZ' is my initials and '96' is my year of birth: 1996.
(I figured I could post it, as the contest was announced on brickset... and I think it's a very nice built ;)

I used my girlfriends friend lego, so I was quite limited in my piece use.
