Well, all the games were from one seller, the two Batman ones were from another.

i bought this at a online auction for 95.00 but i know nothing about it.  I would love to tear it apart and give it to my son for christmas but i can't fondness that either.

i googled everything and nothing.  the marking you see are the markings it has.

All i know isnit was an estate online sale and he said it was pretty old.  It is three feel long. Does anyone know anything about it.

With The weight of that thing there was no way it was falling off the table sitting that far over.   I was surprised when i first picked it up. 

I will i'll just have to find a box big enough for it and tell him no assembly required lol

I'm sure those fake gross blocks are safe.  But the question remains...WHY????  Why leave almost half hanging off the edge?  Is it because you secretly want to see it plummet to it's doom?

i carried it in from the garage to the table. there was a couple boxes i moved them to take the picture.

and for the tecord cord it's off the table and in a box i found in the garage

Here are a couple of pictures of my latest ebay haul, sometimes it pays to look a bit more closely at some of the auctions. I won 2 lots from the same seller, one white & one dark red, (which is my favourite Lego colour BTW).
I won the white lot for £7.50 & the dark red lot for £8.66 + £4.00 P+P which came to £20.16.

On Bricklink ATM the white #32077 wheels average price is £77.80 each, I have always wanted to Bricklink a #10134 and winced at the price of the wheels but now have both of them and a couple of other parts to get me started.

As for the dark red parts there are a few that can be used for #10196 ,(I now have well over 100 dark red #2449 's in my collection), & #10182, (again have more then enough #4460b 's handy + the other rarer parts).
As you can guess, I'm one happy bunny ATM :)

Just bought #75101 brand new unopened for €35 from a seller on adverts.ie.
When I arrived at his house to collect he offered me #75105 ( half built but complete) for €25.
A decent day.

Found a sealed LEGO, "Life of George" set 21201 Bricks with APPS for $1.99 at a Goodwill. I just purchased it for the included Bricks. Lots of 1x1's 1x2's... up to 1x6's

What's a yard sale anyway? Whose "yard"? Is this a private person selling things at his home? Have never seen something like this over here. All you see are fleamarkets, but those are pestered by semi-professional sellers of various junk items. Never anything even remotely interesting, let alone any usable Lego.

Yes, exactly that. (this is a USA thing and I speak of my experiences there, not Bulgaria)

@AustinPowers in my experience, a 'yard sale' is basically a sale that occurs at a person's 'yard' (in front of his house) instead of the garage driveway (which would be a garage sale).

Source: Have lived in a white suburb in North Texas.

I found a bin full of 4.5v track pieces and train cars, monorail track, and a monorail motor (among other random bits and pieces) yesterday at a second hand store for $50. I did some quick math and realized I could at least double my money just on the monorail pieces. In the end, I'll end up with some new tracks and free cash in my pocket for the next purchase.

Thanks for the info. That's indeed an interesting concept that was new to me. I can't think of anyone doing something like that over here. Strange, it's a cool idea. Perhaps in Germany, as with many things, you would need an official permit to do something like this, which in turn might hold people off from trying.

@AustinPowers, yard sales & garage sales happen in Australia too, no permits needed, it's usually done by people trying to get rid of a number of things cluttering up the house, garage, etc. It's not like a regular shop, most people might have a garage or yard sale ten or more years after their previous one.

Trip to the Noarlunga Myer store proved to be fruitful, they had the #10577 Big Royal Castle Duplo set for $43 (over 50% off). Seems this one may have got misplaced when they had it on clearance during the mid-year sale in 2015.

How much is the markup in Australia? Because that's normally a $60 set.

I found yet another Uruk Hai army set at a Target for retail. I'm getting pretty good at that. I've found 5 over the past 2 years at the same Target in my area. They're also the Target that puts out 4-5 year old polybags from time to time. They must have a very interesting stock room.

@SprinkleOtter, RRP for the set in AU$ was 89.99, with current exchange rate to US$ its around 66, so that AU$43 translates to US$31 approximately. While we do tend to pay a bit more for Lego (that set is the exception rather than the rule for pricing), we don't have it as bad as some, like the UK.

Btw, have you checked out the new function on the Brickset database? We're pretty close in rank at the moment, though I'll probably drop a bit when I remove a few sets I bought for MOCs. Kind of found it a little trippy I ranked so high & that there was someone who's name I recognised.

Got this for 31. I'm going to be able to knock 3 jedi off my list as well as the parts for a fourth custom jedi, three star wars villans, add to my collection of clones and should be able to make money on the rest of the stuff. My weekend has been made :D

Ah, I see. Yeah, we're pretty lucky here in the US. Prices are pretty much standard, even if we don't get a lot of sets/polys.

I'm shocked. My collection isn't that big- I get less than $300 of sets a year usually.

Prices can be a little wonky for us when we convert the prices to US$. Take all the sets around US$19.99, in AU$ they can vary from 24.99 to 39.99. What really gets me is #75141, I know it's a SW set so expect a bit of mark up, but this takes the cake, TLG's RRP for us is AU$59.99...

As for polys at local retailers, you guys are doing better than us, we've had two Marvel polys, both connected to Lego Marvel game pre-orders, the red arms C-3PO was like the third or fourth SW polybag give away not connected to a Lego SW game. Most people in Australia get their polys one of three ways; [email protected] promos, Bricklink purchase or local speciality toy sellers who tend charge big mark ups for them (average is around AU$12-15 for City, etc polys & AU$15-30 for SW/Marvel/DC, etc).

Keep in mind that it's based on unique sets, which includes CMFs, polybags, etc. I was originally figuring when I first saw the forum post I would be able to say to @xiahna, "see we're not that bad, we're not even in the top....100,000, 50,000, etc." Then I went to check & almost died, inside of the top 2,000 already. Unless TLG starts making less sets or a lot of sets we have no interest in, we will probably keep climbing. The other strategy is to hope enough members continue purchasing at similar rates to us, so we effectively don't move up in the rankings, (you all love Lego, so keep buying, PLEASE!).

Wow, I am in 4,834th place. Yeah. But it is ranked by number of distinct sets. Perhaps there should be other rank formats as well (pieces, value, most "classic" sets, ...) :-)

In effect, I have got 444 distinct sets (more actually, but I haven't had time to update my set list recently), 610 including duplicates, with some 150K pieces. So someone who owned say 500 Polybags and CMFs would rank higher, even though his piececount would be substantially lower. Come to think of it, there is an error in the piececount somewhere anyway. In the headline it tells me I have got 150,921 pieces, on the My Sets page it tells me it is 163,734 pieces - and that is only for the sets that BrickSet has the piececount of, which exludes most of the older part of my collection.

But back on topic, my greatest find recently was the Dimensions Starter Pack for the PS3, which I had been pondering about getting for months now. Finally got it on Amazon pre-Black-Friday offer yesterday. 39.97 Euro was too hard to pass up :-)
