And your right. The Lego postings on Craigslist have been very sparse of late so I haven’t been trolling as frequently as in the past.

I did wonder why it did not sell on ebay as it was 12kgs. The lot included 50 mini-figs not in the photos and not mentioned. What people saw was a few big megabloks and thought it was all rubbish. Also got 8 base plates, so a OK buy.
The twist is she also had an extra bag of "lego" and asked if i wanted to buy it. It turned out to be pure mega bloks so i turned down her offer. So she was going to keep it for grandchildren... Poor children....
Just crossing this set off my wanted list at this price would have made me happy enough alone, even with the missing pieces, but the extras made this purchase quite the bargain. Included with the Reaper were a PF Battery Box, Switch, Lights, and even an M-Motor, of which, exactly all of them work!
After getting a small portion of this set buzzing around with only one motor & lights (and the ridiculous amount of fun I had just rigging that up and watching it go) I now have this unfortunate feeling that this "bargain" may soon prove to be a gateway into more expensive things...

Still going....
I've just finished sorting out 50+ sets, mostly smaller ones, from between 1992 and 1999, including:
#6195, #6494, #6479, #6335, #8250, #6268, #6264, #8226, #6999, #5938
Now it all needs a really good clean...
How does this come about? It has real lego pieces, but as far as I can see is not an official Lego set.
"Disclaimer: LEGO is an official trademark of the LEGO Group who do not produce, sponsor, endorse or authorize this product."
So I'd say they produced the sets themselves, save for the bricks.
Back to the 'how does this come about?' So any company can say to Lego "I want to promote my products in Lego. I know you won't endorse it, but can you bulk supply me the pieces I need?"
Hope that helps!
Found a few good bargains out there. I got the lego minotaurs board game PLUS bonus lego battles game for 8 bucks and 2 olvia desk polys for 2.49 at kmart(there were more of the desk polys but I only wanted a couple) and I found a series 11 scientist for a buck at walmart. I'm burnt out on the CMF line but just for the parts that I really want(the flasks, hair, and face) is well worth the buck
I was surprised how good the lego was, most of it looked newish. A lot of the Star Wars sets were ready made… I have found around 100 figures and half the lego was colour sorted. It looks like I have these sets: 2505. 7994, 7998, 7991, 7682, 7206, 7893, 3222, 7641, 7684, 7637, 7743, 7744. There are 3 small sets that are not even opened…. The Star Wars sets are; 8036, 8037, 7779, 8093, 7915, 8092, 9496, 7752, 7959. Gods knows what other sets I will find…
While building I have found a curious problem. When looking for a part I tend to use the big pile rather than the colour sorted boxes. They are too small to dig around in…
Going to another on my way home to look for the last two.
Create a list and link man!

Of course, these are probably subsidised by our generally-higher RRPs on everything else :)
And for further bragging, I found a Lion Chi Temple #70010 for $60 at Walmart yesterday. I don't usually Christmas shop in May but when my little guy finds that under the tree this year the whole neighborhood will know it.
Alas, the Lone Ranger train in TRU was being sold for $135 :( I didn't know TRU would sell above RRP.
