Welcome to the forum @Brickstructures2009 ! It's easy to get turned around in the various threads when you're newer to the group. And, seeing as how you DID make a great find in your storage, I can see how the connection was made to this thread.

As Astrobricks mentioned, you could certain start a dedicated thread (which it looks like you've already done). Bricklink and Ebay history are also great sources of information (though your sets are a bit more unique with the autographs). I always find the number of sets sold over the last 6 months to be a great indicator of demand. If only a few have sold, the signature may not ultimately add a lot of value compared to a set in higher demand. BUT, you never ultimately know.

Something often said (that I always hate to hear) is that a set is worth whatever someone will pay for it. Always seems like a non-answer to me, but the principle is true. If you attempt to sell on a local selling site like FB Marketplace or OfferUp, perhaps you can get Bricklink prices +XX%? You'd never know until you tried it.

Best wishes in your selling and again, welcome to the forum!

Thanks very much Switchfoot55 for the great feedback. Yes i think it was a pretty good find of mine (lol). Its basically not even opened from original delivery; not a bad effort 10 years on.

Yeah ive had a look through Bricklink; that has been really helpful to see pricing and volume sales history.

Appreciate your comment re signature; i just think its a nice package all together - would be good to see it go to a home where it was valued in one piece. Given the sales figures esp for Fallingwater - difficult for me to keep it.

    Thanks Switchfoot55!!

Some Kohl's stores are having a clearance discount right now, so a percent off the clearance price, including toys, about half off or better. Mostly TLM2 and Toy Story, but I found a #70654 Ninjago Dieselnaut for $48. Might be worth a look if you have one local to you.

^ I have such fond memories of that set! Loved it, the colour and design of the locomotive was really pleasing.

As someone who only decided they needed #21310 after Lego discontinued it, I think that is a pretty good price! I'm still regretting not bidding higher on an Ebay auction shortly after it discontinued, where I could have got it for around £90.....

About a month ago I managed to buy #21309, #21318 and #21319, all new sealed in box, for a total of almost 200€.
I think it was my best deal so far.

I found this in Asda today. Unfortunately it was empty. I was gutted as I thought it was a CMF box, but upon further consideration I think it's a polybag box. Whatever was in it had been reduced down to 25p each.

^I would have been tempted to risk 25p and try buying the box.

I had a download the app and get $10 off message from Ebay a few weeks ago so I downloaded it, got $10 off and deleted the app. Does that count?

Not if you didn’t buy LEGO with it.

Definitely polybags.  Not likely to be CMFs.  (But still well-worth the purchase!

I had some CMFs from Wilkinsons for 50p years ago, whichever series had the gingerbread man. They were on clearance in the DIY section for some reason.

Might not be a steal in some people’s eyes, but I consider it one. Snagged #10178, Motorized AT-AT for $185, complete with everything.

Porch pick-up for these tmw early AM:

    #42021 Snowmobile
    #60092 Deep Sea Submarine
    #60117 Van & Caravan

60092 is HTF in USA ATM AFAIK.
Of the 3 listed on Bricklink (not even considering the 1st one as it's been gutted) the closest one to me is in Ohio.

Annoying that #dis044 doesn’t seem to work as a link. @Huw?

It has been that way forever, I forgot that the links only work for sets, not for minifigures or individual part numbers.

I do, indeed, have all the parts for #928/#497!!! I hoped I could have both 928 and #924/#487 built, but I only have one 4x12 plate in Transparent Yellow. I may have to make my first order from Bricklink!

Just some of what was in a gallon Ziploc bag for $9.99 at an antique mall: I think I only needed the "LL928" bricks to be able to build #928/#497. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend!
What a great find!  Looks like you have some of the parts for #6927 also...

I have #6927, so no big deal... JK! According to Bricklink, the "LL928" bricks for sale now are an average of just under $5 each- used! I haven't even checked prices for the other printed pieces. They're all in pretty good shape. Certainly worth $9.99! I might go back tomorrow and spend the time yo look through all the other bags. It was close to closing time; the "LL928" was visible in that bag on the top of a pile. I could see the 928 and 924 bricks and some of the other old Space parts.

@gelkster Antiques Minnesota, in Burnsville, Highway 13 east of 35W. Several dealers there have LEGO, so look around.

Your unfiltered desire for 560Heliport's 'honey hole' is unnerving. :p
"Named after a beehive for its honey, honey hole is slang for a location that yields a valued commodity or resource.Though you may hear the word honey hole and think that it relates to an actual hole in some foreign location, more often than not there is no hole involved at all."

I've learnt the hard way, if there's several bags of bricks and they look like they came from the same donor, get them all if you can!

Coincidentally though, after that learn, I've also found set 928 spread across several bags in a charity shop.

Well, after several weeks of messages back and forth, I finally was able to bring home #7594 Woody's Roundup!. To my surprise, #7595 Army Men on Patrol was also in the box. All for $40. Not an absolutely groundbreaking deal, but more than enough for me! It checks off two more original Toy Story sets that I wanted in my collection.

As an aside, if you happen to have an extra #7597 Western Train Chase or #7598 Pizza Planet Truck Rescue that you're wanting to sell, perhaps we could work a deal out?

If my cousins recieved Lego for xmas, they would end up being around the house and would generally be thrown out by my aunt by new year's. She hated clutter. My mom refused to let us bring any bricks over because they would get tossed as well if we actually left them there. Gotta love my mom. She knew the value of Lego even back in the 1980s and saved all of it.

^^ Someone who hates clutter that much should not have children.
You made me laugh out loud. I do hate clutter. I am blessed with five children, four in the house still.

so far we've put together the Ghostly Hideout set #1596, only missing the minifigure shield, and the Black Knight's Boat #1547.  also got a good start on Majisto's Tower #1906. so far that is missing a dragon wing and the wizards magic wand. Can't wait to figure out what else is in there. there are minifigs from castle, pirates, space and I even found a stormtrooper torso in there.

I see parts for #6352 Pizza To Go, Aquazone, Ice Planet 2002, Pirates Islanders... So much good stuff! I'd consider driving to Colorado for all that, even though I have a lot of those sets.
