Hello I'm David.

I've always loved LEGO since I was a child now that I've turned that love of building things and taking them apart into a career (Mechanical Engineer) I have time and money to jump back into this awesome hobby. I just ordered the Shuttle Expedition (10231) and waiting with baited breath for it to get here so I can put it together. Also loving Star Wars I've been obsessing about getting an Ultimate Collectors Series set in the near future, I have my eyes on the Imperial Shuttle 10212 and the soon to be released Super Star Destroyer 10221.

If you love Star Wars then you really need to get Set 10212 Imperial Shuttle - it's superb.

At £100+ more than the price of the Imperial Shuttle, I think the Super Star Destroyer will be the preserve of the hardcore Star Wars LEGO fans who have already cut their teeth on the slightly less bonkers sets ! Maybe see you there....

Shuttle Expedition should be waiting at home for me after work today, should be a fun night! I've decided to go ahead and get the Imperial Shuttle next week but I've also decided to limit myself to only one "big" LEGO purchase every two or three months. LEGO and snowboarding, great winter around the corner.
