Oooh thanks!
that is nice to know.
I just checked JohnLewis, and with GBP 7,50 delivery costs included to The Netherlands, for two superhero sets I fancy ( #76012 & #76013 ) and maybe want to buy. It is still about €10 cheaper than when I order it with free delivery from [email protected] here in NL. Isn't that nuts, that Lego is so bloody expensive here, I can't image TLG will continue to sell lots of Lego here in NL with these ridiculous steep prices.
The only downside is, it won't include that *free special poly Martian Manhunter minifig Lego has on offer at the moment.
Do you know if prices at John Lewis, go down after some time for sets, and/or maybe also rise in time. I see this happen all the time at one particular online retailer here in NL. Where sometimes they sell the same set initially for e.g. €80, after some weeks the raise the price to €100, and then later they have it for a short while on special offer for €85, then a month later I see them selling it for €120. And so on, and so on....
Makes me feel really ambivalent towards them, still I did manage to get a nice bargain the few times I bought something at www.bol.com
