Anybody know where I can buy in bulk. Looking to buy 5000+ of these little suckers.

It looks like someone purchased 5000 through Bricklink for $0.57/ea in Dec 2013.... Most available now is only 1000+ @ $1.72.

For sending out with rental sets. It's a good idea if it stops people using their teeth.

They should send the separators back. I would think the terms of the rental would cover damage to the pieces?

Out of interest how long do most of your customers have the high in demand sets like the death star on their wanted list before receiving it?

^ and how long are they given to build it before it's considered a "late" rental. I would have thought that the provision of stickers would be a no-no on rental sets too.

It varies. It's only for our megafan members and we are constantly increasing inventory to meet demand for particular sets. I hope this helps :)

There is no late in the rental, they can take as long as they want or keep it with them to show off to friends and family and then return it back to us when they feel like it.

Hi LegoMom1,

It's to help with separation of bricks because separating LEGO pieces can be difficult and time consuming so we want to help people be able to separate.

I remember poo-pooing these things initially, but they are quite useful and easy on the fingers.

I also didn't see the point of these for ages. Then one day (probably via here) someone mentioned how you can use two to separate two 1x2 plates, and I haven't looked back since!

hahaha, I have actually tried separating and it really hurts, it's not as easy as I thought it would be. I'm quite surprised.

For me, to protect the bricks.

But I guess this business is in the US, so to protect the teeth. Otherwise they get law suits for broken teeth ... :-)

I'm guessing people are returning unseparated bricks back and this is to encourage people to break the models up before posting back as the labour costs of breaking up models are probably more than anticipated?

Sorry Legomom1, I didn't know you meant it that way. Secondly, separating bricks is pretty hard. I actually ried one whole set that's not separated and it takes quite a long time hahaha.
