Question about vintage set #105 LEGO Building Set

I picked up this set off Craigslist today. The box is near perfect. This set has the box that slides into an outer sleeve. My question comes from the fact that the inner box is shrink wrapped. I wasn't buying LEGO back in 1974 when this set was made so I'm wondering did LEGO shrink wrap back then? I can't imagine, even if this is original factory wrap, that this set would command a high premium since it contains mostly basic bricks......or would it?

The shrink wrapping of the inner box sounds right for the era. I don't know what year Lego stopped this type of packaging, but I've seen stuff from the mid and late 60s like this. As for premium, no I wouldn't image it would command much of one either. Unless a set is super rare and/or has a huge interest level they aren't worth that much. Most universal building sets aren't super rare and very, very few have any real interest level.

I had a 1970s set that was shrink-wrapped on the outside. I'm not sure about the inside--I wanted to keep it new.
