I swung by this place today and stumbled into the sale jackpot of my LEGO life so far. They have some advertised closeout/markdowns and those particular deals are very lackluster. Things like $10.99 marked down from $12.99. What isn't advertised, however, is that many other sets are being closed out for 50-75% off. You have to use the price scanner a few aisles over to see how much each set is.
Here's a list of what I discovered. I left the store today around 3:30pm. I'm not a reseller, so I bought anywhere between zero and two copies of each, depending on my own collecting interests or for regifting purposes:
#70003 - Eris' Eagle Interceptor:
$35.00 $8.75 (2 left)
#76007 - Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack:
$40.00 $10.00 (4 left)
#76003 - Superman Battle of Smallville:
$50.00 $25.00 (5 left)
#76009 - Superman Black Zero Escape:
$20.00 $8.00 (4 left)
#79109 - Colby City Showdown:
$50.00 $12.50 (2 left)
#75005 - Rancor Pit:
$60.00 $30.00 (6 left)
#75004 - Z-95 Headhunter:
$50.00 $25.00 (10+ left)
#79002 - Attack of the Wargs:
$50.00 $25.00 (10+ left)
#79001 - Escape from Mirkwood Spiders:
$30.00 $13.50 (1 left)
#60004 - Fire Station:
$100.00 $50.00 (2 left)
#60001 - Fire Chief Car:
$12.00 $6.00 (5+ left)
#60008 - Museum Break-in:
$70.00 $35.00 (2 left)
#70702 - Warp Stinger:
$30.00 $12.00 (5 left)
#31009 - Creator Small Cottage:
$25.00 $12.50 (4 left)
I could easily have missed some things. I know I didn't scan absolutely every item there. They had a few Ninjago sets, and some additional, smaller Star Wars sets. I saw a few Friends sets in the next aisle over. Good luck, if there are any other Kentuckians on this forum.
