I'll investigate fully when I get back.
Safe travels!
I just noticed that, while my "minifigs owned" number has returned to normal, my "parts" count in the header of the main Brickset site has completely disappeared and I'm unable to find any link to view a list of all the parts I own. I do have "Enable parts collection functionality" ticked.
What's happened there? Does it have something to do with the new banner perhaps?
The one on the 'my collection' page is a sum of the number of parts we have recorded for sets in your collection, some of which, it seems, do not have inventories.
Clear as mud? :-)
Edit: if you do a google search for ads.loadreviews.com, the second search result mentions virus removal for this. I did not click on that results link, though....
Disable javascript in settings and clear your cache for Safari (also in settings I think) - that might do it. I've seen stuff similar to this on my wife's iPad and I think they use the same code in the browser as iPhones.
Or see this: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203987
I'll report it to the ad. network.
I think what would make the most sense is to eliminate the "Airjitzu" subtheme altogether (with all of the 2015 Airjitzu sets being switched to the "Possession" subtheme and 70590 Airjitzu Battle Grounds being switched to the "Day of the Departed" subtheme) and possibly for the "Airjitzu flyer" tag to be shortened to just "Airjitzu" (since all sets with Airjitzu flyers carry the "Airjitzu" branding on the box).
I emailed you about this before but is there any chance the awesome website Brickset.com and it's api will be available through https?
Reason I also ask here is that there might be more users of this website wondering the same thing. And I'm getting increasingly more questions about my extension not working.
Because now my BrickTip chrome extension does not work on https websites since chrome no longer allows calls to insecure sites from https websites.
I'll make a point of doing so shortly.
I just got fed up of ctrl-arrow not working so decided to search and see if it was fault of a known problem.
For me, ctrl-arrow works fine with Chrome, but not with Firefox (I have version 50.1.0 right now). I tried both Windows and Ubuntu and it's the same.
I don't want to have to switch to Chrome, but as I start to use the forum more often, I might get frustrated enough to do it for this everything brickset related.
Probably because the minifigure driver uses the Blacktron torso. Agreed though, should not be tagged as Blacktron.
Weirdly, zooming text out and in fixes it.
I'm on an oldish laptop which is only 1024x600...
(Although oddly if I click on the "In 1000 sets" link it shows me "1 to 25 of 983 matches"...)
Here, I looked up a set via item number.
Then when I selected Elves at the end of Home-Browse-Sets- , it led me to this screen:
So so I went to the main browse screen and it showed me the number of sets under the Theme.
Then when I selected Elves (33) it lead me to an identical blank screen
Is the theme dead in 2017?
That's one feature I wish I'd never implemented: it's the cause of more help desk calls than any other!
Went to use the AGM feature in the data base for the first time and it won't allow me to add details, curser doesn't even register in the spaces. Am I missing something?
Cheers
It's something I need to fix when I've figured out the best way to do so.
HI Huw,
using an HP laptop.
cheers
