Torso template sticker sheets

I'd like to make my own torso designs for minifigures.

Anyone got a link to blank template that's already at correct size?

Also what is the easiest way to colour/design them?

Also any pointers on getting into printing directly onto lego? Is that terribly difficult?

It's all my own original designs. Nothing dubious

    There are some templates on the eurobricks minifigs customisation forum pages. The easiest way to design them is to draw with your favourite art package.

    Very difficult. You will need to invest in a rather specialised pad printing kit. An alternative is to print onto waterslide decal paper, which works very well for parts that are not going to get heavily played with or wet.

    The Minifig Customization Network has templates for pretty much everything, including all parts of the minifigure: http://www.minifigcustoms.com/resources/templates

    As far as printing, you will need a pad-printer. They are expensive, but prices have been coming down, or you could try to get a used one. I have seen some listings on eBay. I would go with what @CCC suggested and go with water-slide decals. They are inexpensive and look practically the same as direct printing on the minifig...(c;
