Any Canadians need Detective's Office? 20% off right now on Amazon. Also, City Service Station is about 40% off. Finally bit at that price. The RRP was ridiculous.

Not an actual brick set, but Lego DC Comics Super Heroes Cosmic Clash is $6.00 on DVD. It appears to (still) come with the Cosmic Boy minifig. I've had this sitting in my cart for months. $6 is the cheapest I've seen it.
It appears the Justice League attack of the legion of doom set with Trickster is also under 10 USD (9.39)
Attack of the Legion of Doom DVD w/ minifig is down to $7.98!
Attack of the Legion of Doom is down to $5.61 when I checked just now.

What is annoying is that Amazon will not refund price differences any longer as I bought these at about 8 dollars a pop.

A pleasant surprise today is seeing the Ferris wheel at 159.99. Though I bit surprised that it is on sale as I thought this is an exclusive. I know others have been discounted, but those sets appear to be on their way out of production.

So tempted to get the Ferris Wheel, but I think I shouldn't spend more money...

I was thinking the same thing. Then I realized this set has been out almost 1.5 years. By comparison, Fairground Mixer was out 2 years, 4 months give or take. So maybe, the Ferris Wheel has less than a year left. I caved.

Funny - it feels like the Fairground Mixer has been out 3 years+.

Yeah, not sure if the Ferris Wheel will get any cheaper in a sale.

if you don't own it, then i strongly encourage you to buy it.  It's one of the best LEGO sets of the past few years.  Really impressive

Cosmic clash with Cosmic boy figure and Attack of the legion of doom (with Trickster) dvds are both 5.61 now
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916
I keep waffling on the Ferris Wheel. I have one already that I got a while back at 25% off. I agree it's not likely to get any cheaper, though at this point it's difficult to predict what is going to happen with large exclusive sets.

I think it's a great looking set (it also reminds me of when I used to play with K'Nex), and I might just get it to have it stored, since I barely have space to build/display the modulars, and build it to put it next to the river (kinda like in London), since I don't have and really have no interest (yet) in the carnival/fair theme.

I have been looking all day yesterday and today #42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator, every hours it drops slightly in price as the seller Deal Source Network drops the price by a few cents, they after a little bit, Amazon automatic price adjustment list it 1c below.

At that rate, it will be at a price I want by May :)

what is the buy one get one deal?

Buy 2 LEGO sets and the cheapest one is 40% off.

In my case, getting the #75157 ($77.59) and #60124 ($75.99) sets resulted in an extra $30 off (40% off $75.99).

I noticed it while checking out:

Upon checking the set's page, I found this:

Both sets had the promotion listed, but now I'm looking at other sets (e.g. #70314) and its not there. It seems that it only applies to certain sets, but can't figure out which ones (several Star Wars sets list the promotion). The Here's how link shows a generic promo page that doesn't address LEGO specifically.

    I guess I was lucky.

  • JooTogJooTog Member Posts: 945
OK, more on the BOGO 40% off.

A random sampling of sets seems to indicated that it only applies to City and Star Wars (including Rogue One) sets. Must be sold by Amazon and not out of stock.

Again, this is just based on checking out random sets across different themes.

I've been checking various Star Wars sets and don't see anything about BOGO40% off. They do appear to be matching Target's 20% off.

Check the item descriptions of the sets you are wondering about. Any set eligible will show the BOGO 40 offer in the item description under 'special offers and product promotions'

As for this sale in general:
Ugh NO MAS!! NO MAS... Wallet cannot take it anymore....

The Brickset front page informed me that the High-speed Passenger Train #60051 is 83.99 (44% off) which is just about the lowest it has ever been.
