Question about Pick-A-Brick cups and lid as sets

CrazylegomanCrazylegoman Member Posts: 12
I saw that 4200692 4200691 4200693 were all added to the database recently, and from the names it appears that these 3 "sets" are just the empty plastic Pick-A-Brick cups and lids.  There are no images, so I thought I ought to ask to make sure.  There are a few reasons why I think I must be mistaken in thinking that the set entries are Pick-A-Brick cup parts:

1. Pick-A-Brick cups are not sets.
2. P.A.B. cups have been used in LEGO stores for 20-ish years, so it wouldn't make sense to add them now.
3. The 3 parts each have their own set entry, but if P.A.B. cups really were added as sets, then surely they would be added as 2 sets: one that's a large cup with lid and one that's a small cup with lid.
4. There are no images, and images of P.A.B. cups and lids are easy to come by.

So... what are these set entries?  I've made the numbers into direct links, because using the # in front of the number doesn't work like it does with a regular set.

Thanks,
David

I'd guess that the reason they've been added now is that perhaps @Huw only just learned the numbers.

And they will technically be discontinued soon enough, so maybe it's for archival reasons too.

I guess I'll go ahead and assume that those 3 listings for "sets" really are just the P.A.B. cups from LEGO stores.  That means that my quantity of sets listed here is about to go up by 100 or so. ;)

Is it possible TLG just added those on its end recently, and the data dump Brickset gets now includes them?

As parts maybe, but I think it would be very odd for TLC to list the P.A.B. cup parts as separate sets.
