rotating platform

I am trying to build a batmobile ramp that elevates and rotate but could not figure out a mechanism that will work.   I tried many different approach and can't solve the issue of rotating while elevating using the same power source.  Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Following, that's an interesting proposition.  Are you talking about the giant #76139 the 1989 Batmobile, or one of the smaller ones?  If it's the big boy, I imagine rotating and elevating simultaneously will be super tough.

Although many of them have moved on, I feel like one of our GBC builders would be a great resource for solving this mechanical issue. I'm hopeless when it comes to making things move.

I think you might need some additional details-- the size is certainly an issue.  I'm guessing you want a minifig-scale Batmobile, but you might also mean something that's microfig or UCS scale.

I'm also assuming you want something that's a circular platform, as opposed to a rectangular platform that rotates (say).  And, for that matter, are you essentially looking for a solid cylinder that extends, or is a lifting platform supported by a mechanical arm/pillar sufficient?

Other questions I know I would have are:  how far should it ascend/descend?  And how much should a full rotation be?  180 degrees?  90 degrees?  270 degrees?  If it's expected to rotate 90 degrees over a height of 20 bricks, that might be very different than rotating 270 degrees over a height of 4 bricks.
