I'm confused. I did not enter the discount code on my order because I didn't know what a "Brick Picker" was. Is that a Brickset member? Looks like I lost out.

I did @Onebricktoomany... and it was still showing a $4.99 shipping charge for me. Though I didn't complete the order all the way through since I wanted to ask about it first.

Hmmm… i dont recall seeing it there at all.  Just tried to do it again and it worked.  Here is before adding discount

The shipping remained free.  I am using Paypal so  I don’t know if that makes a difference.

Website says free shipping for orders over $75.  So it seems that if one only orders a set of 12 rather than a full box then we would be charged for shipping.  They used to explicitly say we would get free shipping if we used their links but that doesn’t seem to be the case this time around.  I  only want a set so still trying to decide if I want to pay for shipping plus a slight markup over retail or take my chances elsewhere with random boxes.  I hate the blind boxes.

Yep, we used to get free shipping on the sets of 12 too... so that's what I'm hoping that @MinifiguresPlus can clarify. Since now the base cost is a little over retail for each fig (at about $5.25 each) if we factor in the shipping fee as well, it makes each fig about $5.66.

Don't get me wrong, I still love the service, and it's absolutely nice not to have to worry about trying to find and feel blind bags, but it's definitely not nearly as good of a deal as it used to be.

We believe this will be the case. As always, LEGO does not guarantee exact distribution. We however guarantee that we NEVER open the boxes that we sell! We ship them as we receive them from the factory.

What if we haven't ordered with the code from the forum here for this (or any) series since you started doing the orders through the website with discount codes? I've messaged you in the past to get sets that way but haven't been interested in getting a full set of anything since Series 23. I did sign up for the newsletter. Will there be a difference if we just get the newsletter but didn't order with a "Brickset" code previously?

We expect the shipment to arrive to us either at the end of the week or early next week. Box orders will ship right away and set orders will be shipped as quickly as possible in the order in which they were received. Tracking numbers on box orders will begin to generate soon!

I appreciate retaping the boxes in the complete set I ordered. That was a great compromise between the necessity of opening them to check the figure, and maintaining the surprise at my end opening them. Thank you as always!

Bought a case of 36, hoping for 3 complete sets for myself and 2 coworkers, opened them today and was very disappointed to have only one Giant Man and 5 (yes, 5) Beast figures. I know there's no guarantee, but this definitely puts me off ever buying another case, especially if it arrives in a "factory box" where the top is sealed, but the whole top just slides right off.
Time to start trying my luck at Wal-Mart.
