80036: The City of Lanterns belongs to LEGO 90TH ANNIVERSARY?

I am reviewing a few sets and found that 80036 has the tag LEGO 90TH ANNIVERSARY attached to it. Am I correct to assume that it does not belong to the retro series? Or if someone could shed some light? Thank you

    One of the stickers in the set (the hanging sign on the telephone pole on the right) celebrates the 90th anniversary, with the number "90" and the classic Lego mascot character.
