I saw the same listing by chance as I was looking to fill my cart up for free shipping with a Curiosity set. By the time I called for availability, the listing had disappeared. Congrats on grabbing one and thanks for sharing the information

Thats odd. I saw the same thing last night and called them about it and they said that they didn't have any available. :(

Same here. I saw it last night and called, and they said none available, it was retired, they would not be getting any more, etc. Now, I understand they may be getting returns (from orders or from stores) perhaps, or finding them periodically in the warehouses, and that's why none were available last night but some are today, but I wonder how they actually check whether something is in stock. The guy I talked to sounded like he was just using the web site to order the set for me. He didn't seem to put in any extra effort to check on availability.

I was looking for filler sets for the Mars Rover when I saw the status and called. The lady answered the phone said that she saw on one app showed sold out and the other call to check availability. She had to check around and placed the order for me. They apparently have other means to verify inventory.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I recall that when the Winter Bakery was in a similar state before, and it took some time for someone to come back with an answer (of finding one for me to order). Without knowing what system or processes they can follow I asked the guy last night if there was anything else that could be checked to see if the set was available. He had no clue, or didn't want to bother with the effort. I usually get a pretty cheerful person on the line who asks about what themes I like, what my kids like, etc. It was near the end of the day when I talked to this guy, and he was probably just ready to leave work and get some brewskis.

It is interesting. Looks like my order is already arrived at FedEx facility as I received FedEx tracking email related to the order number, but the status at [email protected] is still in process. ;)
