If LEGO consumes most of your free time you may have a case of AFOLuenza.

Although I do have other interests, I find the majority of my free time is spent in pursuit of, sorting, researching, building and yes, sometimes playing with LEGO. I think I have a severe case of AFOLuenza!

Another symptom of AFOLuenza is the frequent attempts to find more space to store and display more LEGO.

Sounds like a familiar situation. I have found that it gets NO better with time. My wife asked me the other day how much I thought my personal collection was worth. I was caught off guard and choked on my coffee.

If we weren't going to be out of town I would probably be posting on Christmas day. I'm not looking forward to all the traveling.

I may have AFOLunenza as well. After a great deal of pleading I was allowed to open one gift early. It was Tower of Orthanc. So excited to build it. So excited to open all those other gifts that shake and rattle. So excited to see the faces of those who open the gifts that I purchased (99% LEGO). Even more excited to have seven days off to build.

One may even have AFOLuenza if they are checking in (or already dreading not being able to check in) with the Brickset forum folks on Christmas!

Though I don't post often, I may have made sure to bring my laptop to NY while visiting family specifically so I could check in at least once a day here and a few other sites...

Happy Christmas everyone. I definitely have it, I am posting here whilst waiting for the family to get up so I can open my presents. First on the list will be my secret Santa gift, arranged through here. Why are the family sleeping so late? This is torture.....

I definitely have it. Bought myself Ewok Village for Christmas (which is bad enough) but I labelled it "From Lego Santa". Oh the shame!

Plus I'm posting on Christmas Day.

    Oh well...

Sounds like several of us have symptoms of AFOLuenza.
This is what I bought myself and labelled "from Santa".
My 12 year old daughter got me TMNT Shredders Dragon Bike. It was a very fun build.

    I'm glad I'm remedied.

A box of Lego a day,
    keeps the doctor away....

I just build my medicine for today.

Wish you all a very merry X-mas, a happy New Year and...hope this cure works out for all of you to!
    Get well soon!

I'd love to see how the light switch covers look. Share a pic when you have them up and built on.
