Hello from the UK :)

suprajamessuprajames UK SussexMember Posts: 366
Hello all, nice to be on the forum at last, have been using the main site for a while. I collect Lego Star Wars (Episodes 4-6 only), as they are the films I grew up with. Collection is coming along nicely and I just picked up some great 2006 sets, B Wing, Slave 1, and Jabba's Sail Barge. I did have a question about the barge 6210 set but not sure where to put it ? Anyway nice to be here.

James

Welcome @suprajames! Star wars fan here too :-) (and many more)

Where to post a question about #6210 depends on what sort if question it is...

Btw, a stormtrooper was my first avatar as well ;-)

I changed to boba fett now, one of my fave characters :), question was just about the fact that i see some sets were supplied with 3 solid 8x8 tan (brick yellow/beige) plates instead of the 8x8 grille plates, my set sadly has the solid plates and was wondering how common this was, am currently trying to get some grille plates from bricklink via a US seller, the set and box are perfect apart from that.

also not sure if there is a place to list all the sets i own ? or is my account here linked to my normal brickset account and so people can see what sets I own and want ?
  • rancorbaitrancorbait Manitoba CanadaMember Posts: 1,850
I'm not sure how common it is, but on bricklink the 8x8 grill plate comes up in the inventory page and the solid 8x8 plate comes up as an 'alternate part', see here.

No, not on the forum, but i'm sure you can provide links on your forum profile page.

    Hope that helps :-)

Ok, I have #4483, as well as both of the slave 1s, they are great sets!
  • suprajamessuprajames UK SussexMember Posts: 366
thats a great set to, at-at and slave 1 are my fave SW ships/vehicles, but have to say i am very impressed with #6210, not the most sturdy model but very detailed, awesome mini figures and great to build. I have a lot of sets that are still BNISB but I also love buying sets that are still mint but boxes have been opened just so i can build them :)

If no luck with the plates, I have them from the same set. Mine isn't complete and I've no interest in finding the remaining pieces.

I'm in the UK and can post them out Monday

  • suprajamessuprajames UK SussexMember Posts: 366
@Supertramp you have the 3 tan 8x8 grille plates from the older sail barge set ? would be very interested if you do, and quicker than ordering from the states, will see if i get a reply back on BL.
  • SuperTrampSuperTramp City 17Member Posts: 1,021
Yes from the original set, send me your address and I'll post them out Monday when I post my other stuff.

Do you need any other bits?

    Welcome to the forum @suprajames.

This thread has become a wonderful example of just how friendly and knowledgable the AFOL community can be.

Btw is the Supra in suprajames a reference to your mode of transport?

    Nick.
