After the reveal of the Valentines day bear, the back of the instruction booklet shows a picture of the Easter bunny set to be released soon.

I'm not impressed with this new marketing strategy. Couldn't this set go in a poly and not a box? No interest if it's in a bag. Wrap it in cardboard though and the goalposts change ;-)

I wonder why they didn't use the new mixels joints for these. The scale seems about the same.

Is that a carrot or an orange surface-to-air missile? For the seasonal polys, there is something I love for the $4.99 50-piece sets. This, I'm sure, will be $7.99 at least.

Didn't like the bear at all, but I do like the bunny! And I agree with Kev, I wish it was a poly, because I LOVE polys, cannot resist polys!

I think $9.99 USD and $12.99 CAD is a fairer estimate, IMO.

I like that these items are coming in boxes rather than polys. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE polys, but I think having the item in a box makes them appear higher-quality and may favorable increase their future value for resellers.

The same could be said about the Emerald Express train - no reason that couldn't be in a poly, but dang those pictures sure do look nice on a printed cardboard box!

The polys seem to get opened in stores, maybe the boxes will prevent that.

Kev would prefer them to be in a bag for a different reason. If it's in a bag it means he doesn't have to get it. Now it's in a box it means there's little chance of him avoiding. ;-)

They really are going all out on these animal builds, aren't they? I think it's a very good thing, brick built animals have never looked too amazing before (with some exceptions like Pudsy bear), but this, the teddy, and the Creator Forest Animals set really do look well built.

^^I got that the first time I read it . But we do still both prefer polys. :-)
