I have... no idea how or even IF you can do spoiler tags here on Brickset forums. So I'm going to color anything spoilery in white for the time being. Highlight if you want to read.
EDIT: Never mind, that didn't work at all. >_<
Very neat to know that Cyrus Borg is initially working AGAINST the Overlord and the Overlord has to use his technology to corrupt him. I was thinking it would be more of an issue where the Overlord schemed to earn his trust and gradually exerted more and more influence over him until it came time to double-cross him and take control. I don't honestly mind how it ended up happening, as the idea of the most brilliant and powerful person in the city being coerced by an outside power is quite thrilling, and this also gives the Ninja a strong incentive to try and free Cyrus from the Overlord's control.
We didn't get to see much of Pixal in this trailer, but she's going to be an important character for sure. I hope she ends up joining the Ninja at some point.
The Borg Industries robots feel fairly generic, but that makes sense. After all, they're mass-produced robots and shouldn't have nearly as much flair as the ninja version Cole uses as a vehicle later on. It's kind of funny how the Ninja get their vehicles this year in much the same way the Serpentine got their vehicles in 2012 — by taking command of and magically redesigning enemy or civilian vehicles.
I can't wait to see this scene in context when the show resumes. Wish we had a more specific premiere date than just "2014".
Incidentally, can you share pics of the poster as well? I haven't gotten to see what it looks like.
