Sorting and Storing

Hello all,

I'm looking to get some decent sorting trays for when I build new models and also a good way of storing loose bricks.

I have thought about getting some sorting trays and maybe stack on drawer cabinets, but can't seem to find anything good in the UK. Can anybody give me some advice on what to do?

Thanks all.

I bought a couple of these: Allit Europlus flex-37

You dan pick the tray you need, mostly only a couple of colors.... ;)
Thet also sell the inserts apart, so combine how you want it!

They are sold by farnell.com and guess also local stores have them.

Right, sorting and storing are two very different things.

For sorting prior to building, I just use large shallow foil cooking trays and smaller plastic shallow food storage tubs, both of which can be found at pound shops cheaply.

For storing, I use these plastic drawers from Clas Ohlson, and they also do larger and more expensive metal ones too. A lot of people use Really Useful Boxes, but I use a cheapo version of them which I get from a local pound shop for £1.20 each (for a 1.6 litre box).

Chinese food containers(the elongated white ones) make great sorting bins when building new sets.
