    Pretty cool! In their defense, I didn't know that the plural of LEGO was not Lego's until I was shot down rather severely here on these forums.

    Most do not know... But many people also say bandaid, Kleenex, etc... Some brands just become known as the product.

    Saying "I want play with Lego's" is a polite and shortened (if very uninformed) way to say "I want to play with LEGO's brand of lovely building blocks". ;) In any case, I would never be too hard on someone who's just starting out with their enjoyment of LEGO. It kind of goes against the nature of the toy altogether. Though it's never too early to politely nudge someone to use correct grammar.
