Why is the website different when on mobile?

BubbaBubba Member Posts: 145
Most sites will have a Separate mobile page when someone is viewing the site on a mobile site, like a phone but when going to forum.brickeset.com on my phone the URL is the same and yet the site is different, why is this?  I was trying to pull up an image from a thread but because forum.brickeset.com doesn't show everything on a phone that you see when on a PC I had to go to a PC, log in and email myself the pic.  I get why some sites have mobile version of their site but it's almost always IMHOP done by but using a different URL.

I think you'll find most sites nowadays are responsive -- that is, they adapt to the size of screen they are being viewed on to make them more usable.

If you don't want them to, your mobile browser will have a 'Request desktop site' option in the menu that will attempt to override it.
