While obsessively looking for images of the new Hobbit sets, found these-

I don't want the minidolls, but they get great accessories. #41027 Mia's Lemonade Stand has the new scooter in a gorgeous pale blue green. There is a great clear pitcher and cookies.

I will also need some lambs.

    I need Lego cookies!!

The sets look very cute. Friends is my ray of sunshine in the Lego range, always delivers great details and fun colours and useful parts.

    Thanks for posting!

I think the pitcher is actually a trans clear mug on a trans clear minifig head, not a new element. But I think it features the new bowl element (in white) that appears in the Parisian restaurant. @caperberry is the parts expert - is it the same part?
Those cookies have to be printed right? I've never seen a sticker that small. Are the yellow/gold binoculars also new?
Loving the pink helmet too - Penelope Pitstop minifig is one step closer....

That lamb is too cute for words :-)

The scooter is a part that brickforge have done for a while. I hope lego do it in city colours too. Dolphin doesn't look too bad either, not quit as cutesy as normal friends animals. No doubt they'll stick a bow in the blow hole.

That made me choke up laughing.

The scooter is already set to appear in classic Bright Red in the Parisian Restaurant. I think your concern about the dolphin is a little bit unfounded, since TLG managed to avoid that problem in every official pic the Dolphin Cruiser (which has two of the same dolphin with different colors and prints) and in two of the official pics for the new set (including the main box pic). If it had never appeared in sets before it'd be a very valid concern.

That Lemonade Stand is a gold mine. Beautiful printed sign, printed cookies, Bright Purple (Bricklink's dark pink) leather helmet, Aqua (Bricklink's light aqua) motor scooter, a clever-looking juicer, one of the new 2x2 bowl/inverted dome pieces in white, and a mini-doll in a stylish outfit to top things off. It's a great set design in general but could be just as useful as a parts pack.

The Newborn Lamb set has a wonderfully cute barn, even if it's just one wall and a floor. Love the little straw bed for the lamb, and the washbasin is a great way to add play appropriately rustic potential. Stephanie's blouse is a nice design, though I'd think in a barn she'd want some tougher shoes. For one of the pinkest sets we've seen in LEGO Friends, it doesn't look half bad.

The Lifeguard Stand set is not what I'd expect from the name (I'd expect a smaller lifeguard chair myself). It's still pretty awesome though. Another way to get a dolphin is nice, especially since it's one of the LEGO Friends animals that works all right in System (not considerably worse than the old one, at any rate). Gold binoculars are intriguing. Any set with those in a larger quantity will be a must-buy for steampunk builders. The red whistle is a great detail on the mini-doll.

Nice variety of parts, but it bugs me they don't seem to acknowledge that even little girls have male friends, and brothers!

Hope we get these scooters in a few colours. As a purist, I'm so pleased for a TLG version. Now I can start on my Quadrophenia MOC...

I think the point is to have as many different characters in the sets for girls themselves to identify with as possible. It's the same issue we see to an even worse extent in many boy-oriented themes like Ninjago, and I agree that it is unrealistic and that it ought to change eventually. But currently, the only Friends sets with a single male character are those which already have two female characters.

I recently read an article addressing the possibility that boys and girls CAN identify with characters of the opposite sex much more easily than conventional marketing wisdom gives them credit for. But this article addresses only media, not toys. Toys could be a more formidable challenge since without the support of media, toy makers don't have the same level of deliberate control over how their characters are perceived as writers for books, TV, and film. The look of a character might be all a buyer has to determine the character's personality by.

This was posted on Hoth Bricks a couple days ago, but apparently hasn't been referenced here:

    http://www.hothbricks.com/2013/10/lego-friends-2014-gamme-en-images/

I don't see watermarks anywhere, but I suppose this could be from a retailer catalog. Mods, please remove the link if necessary.

In any case, the set names can be discussed:

    41026 Sunshine Harvest
    41035 Heartlake Juice Bar
    41037 Stephanie's Beach House
    41039 Sunshine Ranch
    41056 Heartlake News Van

    41041 Collectable Animals (S4): monkey?
    41042 Collectable Animals (S4): giraffe?
    41043 Collectable Animals (S4): penguin?

Not anymore, the News Van #41056 gets a male figure and only has one female fig to go along.
