I’ve tracked down all of the polybags I wanted this year except the Spider-Man bridge battle. I’ll give target a little more time before I BrickLink it. 

The hogwarts polybag was easily my favorite… I picked up duplicates for some sort of future family competition.

The one I visited today had the same set up but there were none of the City Vehicle in the display & I grabbed the last Creator Train.  Luckily they had more of the Train in the regular Lego area.  Already had the Santa from last year and didn't want either of the other two.  No sign of the City Fire Vehicle or Hogwarts Bags in the bin in the toy department but I already got those.

My WM had a whole case of those polys @vanvonfull. But since my WM is dumb now and has everything locked behind glass, I can't be bothered to buy almost anything from them anymore.

Doesn't surprise me, but that's starting to feel a bit steep for polys.  Especially some of them.  I've wondering if the standard price would be going up from $4.99 to $5.99 at the likes of Walmart / Target etc.  Probably coming.

#30641 and #30634 are still $4.99 at Target and they were just released.

I can see the price increase...not because of inflation...more just because there's not that many available at Walmarts and Targets anymore(at least not in my state). And that's almost the only places to get them except a small Scheels and and Joanns.
  And not that these are polybags but minifigure Series 24 were at Barnes and Noble as of Monday(Jan 2) already.

My store is putting out the Valentines stuff in the Seasonal section.  But there were some basic yellow peeps there too.  The only gifts, non-candy item I noticed was the seasonal small plush Grogu for Valentines day.  No Lego items yet and the regular Lego shelves in the toy department were still pretty bare, just a few new Friends sets.  Only Polybags in the toy area were the Fire dept. one, the Dots one, Super Mario, the yellow & teal truck one and maybe a couple of the Hogwarts one.  My store hasn't had any Lego by the checkout registers for over a year now.

I picked up the X-wing at Walmart today too.  Was hoping for CMF 24 since I need a few more of a couple of the figures.  As I neared the toy section I heard the distinctive Crinkle Crinkle sound & my first thought was they had the Peg Display Boxes hanging on the end of the aisle & somebody had beat me to it.  Turned out they were display boxes of series 23 which I don't need anymore of.

There is another spot labeled “Lego City 30640” which doesn’t exist. It’s probably supposed to be #30639 City Dog Park and Scooter.

There is a fifth spot labeled “Lego Creator 30643” which also doesn’t exist. I assume that’s supposed to be either #30642 Creator Birthday Train or #30644 Creator Vintage Car.

Yeah as a mere mortal not having a red card buying only 3 polys to also pay 6 bucks in shipping? Ill go to my local Target for these.. Maybe Walmart gets them as well as it seems like the exclusivity in polys is not going on as much as it used to.

Went out searching for Doc Strange polys, but did not find any at two Targets, instead found series 24 and 3 Brown space guys and 3 Black Falcon Falconers instead so not disappointed.

My Walmart had the Panda last week.  Today they had the Moana one and a few leftover series 23 CMF.  I ordered the Moana & Dr. Strange ones from Target a couple of days ago so didn't buy anything at Walmart.

Anyone have the DCPI for the Series 24 minifigures at Target?  I'm still hoping the Targets here in Iowa will carry minifigures and polys again.  I've missed out on Series 22, 23 and Muppets.

My receipt says 204001379 but I think Target uses that for all CMFs.

That was short lived.  I ordered 3 more when they came back in stock. They’re individually coming from all over.  Fredericksburg VA, Cincinnati OH and Minneapolis MN!  What gives?  All sold out everywhere?

Yeah...that's right.  But I still needed it!  Thanks!!   My Targets haven't carried minifigures in over a year now and polys are rather hard to come by too.  I only saw them at 1 store and they only carried about 10-12 of each for X-Mas.  I don't know what gives anymore.

Yeah, I haven't seen CMFs in my Target for years.  I wonder if some Targets don't stock them because of theft?  No idea.

I was in a Joann Fabrics the other day as I was on the hunt for Polys and CMF, so I decided to check it out.. Man, what a sad state of affairs for this store chain it looked like a half empty 'close out' store.

@madforLEGO wonder if they were in middle of a flip in seasonal inventory or that store isn’t doing well.  I think overall the chain is doing well.

My local Joann's has been in a seasonal inventory flip since December.  Online shows that my local store has both #30637 & #30641 in stock in the store but not #30634 or #30643.  I was able to get #30643 at Target.  There were some things I was looking for back in January that the website said were in stock in the store but when I went there nothing was out.  Had to resort to placing an online order for in store pick-up just to get them.  More often than not even if their website says the store has something they really don't when they say you can't place an online order for it.

I should be more specific, my Lego shopping at Joann’s is secondary to fabric - I sew and quilt.  I haven’t actually checked for Lego stock at store locations in advance so couldn’t speak to that but have been frustrated a couple times when trying to figure out certain other store items so the store system could be poor overall.  They are hard to beat for most fabric and have good coupons and sales so that alone can make up for other short comings. I am happy they have been carrying Lego and I can find some polys and CMFs both of which are hit or miss in my area at targets and Walmarts.

Both Party City and Tuesday Morning already filed Chapter 11.  A couple more are definitely on the brink.

I often forget JoAnn's has poly's.  I don't go there a lot.  Much like Michael's and Hobby Lobby, the stuff is way overpriced at retail.  Something is always on sale though (personally I don't like nor fall into this purchasing model gimmick).  Who the heck buys at RRP at these stores?  On occasion I go for certain things, but none of them regularly.  I mean, for the most part I can buy most of the stuff elsewhere (mostly Amazon) and usually at cheaper prices if it happens to be the week it's NOT on sale.

I would miss if JoAnn or the others go out of business though.  Choices are nice.  But I'm sure someone/somewhere would pick up the slack.

And on the occasion when I stop at a JoAnn's looking for poly's, I swing by the aisle with the few Lego sets they have.  Never put those on sale.  Usually nothing too exciting I'd want.  So why should I buy there?  Rather buy from Lego store or Lego direct to get the points.

Starting to feel like Lego is moving into the model of high RRP then put on sale quickly or more often.  But that's a discussion for a whole other thread.  I digress.

Straight out cotton fabrics are well priced even without the constant sales and coupons  - I’d rather live without all that too.  Joann’s pricing is very hard to beat by other fabric shops.  I use them for the basics and ‘work horse’ fabrics like backers, solids and such.  These fabrics can be double or more at other fabric chains, Amazon or stand alone fabric stores so I sure hope Joann’s is able to hang in there.

JoAnn fabrics has been around for a long time. I remember my mom going there all the time and taking me with her.. It was really boring for a kid, for someone that did a lot of knitting I'm sure its nirvana for them as that place looked like it had everything related. That's why I was surprised at the state of the store I went to (and no polys either). They had some LEGO sets, but they were haphazardly throw onto part of a shelf, but literally they had shelves moved all over and it was a bit anarchistic.

Well I guess that makes sense.  I don't shop the fabrics, but yeah I guess my the women in my life do or yarn for that matter, it's a good place for that.  All the things I shop there for like crafter/ model stuff, containers, and yes Lego always feel overpriced to me.
