Here is what I saw at a local Meijer's, a veritable polybag smorgasbord:
#30347 #30398 #30476 #30376 #30354 #30338 #30425 #30477 #30352
All in pretty decent amounts, except for the police car
this is an interesting "polybag". the parts are bagged separately and it also contains a few cards.
^sorry. it was a GWP at the Lego store but i don't recall it being announced on the event calendar. i purchased #76077 IM Detroit Steel Strikes and it's possible that a $30 purchase wasn't required.
Oh, and the dumb police car and Friends pommel horse in the Easter section.
LDC did have the #30477 Creator Chameleon, but for 5 USD. They also had a little 2x2 brick case for the Batman movie, and those Krypto bags still. I think they may have had the Ninjago training poly too (forget what the number is on those)
That is so irritating. I live near Madison WI, my family and I would have driven down to go to the LCD then we would have swung by the shop to snag one (plus I'm sure a bunch of other stuff). In a small shop like that it is not hard to limit sales.
That's like the third time in the last year you've reported that they have allowed this. Guess they don't get that they would get more customers if they limited sales.

The infamous, Lego Friends Poo
Have seen them too in the Bay Area.
Does the store have any control over the number of these sets they get from LEGO? If your shelf-clearing nemesis is buying all of the available stock, can the store order more, either in their initial order or as a restock?
From what I understand the LDC get s box of something and that is it in regards to polys. So it sounds like someone comes in first thing on Tuesday (when they apparently get their stocks) and then promptly buys it all. What is annoying is a manager should step in and say 'sorry, we need to ensure everyone has a chance to get one. If they are still here in 30 days then you can buy the remaining stock' At least that is what I would do.
There were only a handful of them; I grabbed a couple and left 4 or 5.
If only Target would FINALLY decide to put those Kylo Ren Shuttles (which are actually really cool) on clearance, that would be great...
Yeah, A lot of 'miss' on that idea. Most sales people either give it to someone else, or have such a narrow window to come get it when it is in stock it borders on laughable.
Lets face it, if someone wants to buy 30 of a poly the day it is out, likely they are a reseller. Especially when it is the SAME guy coming in every time to do this.On the way off chance they are doing it because they have a class of kids and they are a teacher or something like that they will have no issues waiting for 30 days (or probably should not).
Bottom line is if someone wants to buy 30 of something the day it comes out, it will likely sell fine without their 'help'. Especially so if that store gets them in and they are the only store in that state, let alone area, that will be getting them.
Personally, when I come across stuff like this, I buy a few & leave it a couple of weeks before swinging back around for more, if they're still there by that point, they're fair game.
Also found #30521 LBM Batmobile at Barnes and Noble stuffed behind some boxes in the toy section.
The Polys at Barnes and Noble are in the Lego section, usually on a rotating rack.
#30477 Chameleon $3.35
#30426 Stealthy Swamp Boat $4.00
#30376 Knighton Rider $4.00
Hot Rods and Mini Batmobiles too
