Full of cats -_-
(#30188, not actual cats. That would've been ok)
That's some justice!
But if they can pay $150 for an electro polybag, maybe they are just ..."stupid rich."
CMF Series 13
CMF Simpsons Series 1
Mixel Series 3
#30311 Swamp Copter
#30112 Friends
Still looking for that #30314 Wish Fountain!
They also had the Joker Bumper poly on the shelf. I bought a few and it didn't ring up. The sales lady said "this happened yesterday, I don't think we're supposed to be selling these". But she got somebody else to come over and do something that allowed her to sell me the Joker poly too.
She was very helpful!
She then promptly stuck them all behind the front desk. I must not be as good of a sweet talker as you.
For those interested in this poly, according to the store system they aren't supposed to be on the shelf until October. The manager assumed they were for an eventual store promotion.
The TRU ad signs directed the purchaser to take the Electro polybag to the register so it can be rung up as FREE. But they were nowhere to be seen as they were in a closed drawer in the CS area.
Has anyone seen the Joker Bumper Car in So Cal yet?
@yys4u my local Lego store mgr. said now that Simpsons 2 are in stock, they don't see any more orders of Series 13 arriving. She suggested a visit to Legoland (on a shopper's pass) as they have plenty. I don't know if that's close enough for you but worth a try.
But someone just said they saw Jokers bumper car at a TRU, so not certain what is going on.
I'm going to Disney in a couple days
Anything good down there I shouldn't miss?
If they still do Segway tours in Epcot before the park opens in the mornings - that was a lot of fun.
I tried to buy the five foot tall Buzz Lightyear at the Downtown Disney. No luck. I don't think they realized I was serious.
I did mean Lego but the advice is appreciated
Although given the fact that my 2 year old LOVES Nemo I don't think we are going to get away skipping that one- and of course we are skipping Epcot and the far superior aquarium "ride"
