Trailer. Hmm that area during 0:25 and other parts of the video seems cool. It would be a good idea for future sets especially that thing which looks like space base I'd love that. I see a little of pirate scenery too, maybe LEGO is hinting something....?
"Since 1975, LEGO has made more than 3600 different minifigures available and Funcom will continuously keep adding more and more of these for players to collect in-game! Funcom and LEGO are working closely together to blend the physical world of LEGO with the digital one; for instance players who purchase bags containing real minifigure will immediately be able to jump into the game and play with their virtual counterparts!"
It would be wonderful if they release some building sets that mimic what is seen in the game. That's a lot of marketing potential in that game where they could easily release an update to have all of the newest sets in the game.
I don't get why lego couldn't just try to get lego universe revived and updated(multiple ways it'd be possible for a successful run) which was, and still is in a sense, loved by many people instead of approving of a questionable lego game.
The main point of the game is about the CMF's which I really don't think is a good idea. The series has really picked up the pace of early releasing lately and it's making it hard for people to get the figures they want and is causing burn-out for some people(right here!). Plus the factor of there'll be no guarantee how long the series will last compared to when ever the release date for game will be(currently second half 2014 moved back from FIRST half 2014, no word on when beta will open).
and if they are pulling the code/minifigure stunt, that just doesn't look good since at this point(versus if they would of done it with LU about 2 years ago) it's just going to make them look desperate to keep the CMF line alive.
As far as if i'll play it(beta or PC), I just don't know... after having Lego universe ripped out of my hands my the lego company(really, they make a huge profit for multiple years running but are to cheap to leave a highly loved lego universe open???) and now toontown(I mostly been doing an occasional F2P session with my character) leaving next month i'm not in a rush for a new MMORPG.
"Sad LEGO gave the engine / graphics / sound that we did at Netdevil to a different company; while laying all of us ND people off. Good luck."
They reused the same music from LEGO Universe which was nostalgic , even though LU had a LOT of issues, I still enjoyed it. This game doesn't appear to have as strong a story, but hopefully it's still fun.
They should have done this with LEGO Universe, made a whole theme of sets, like with TLM. Some of the designs and concepts from the game would have made amazing sets.

I rarely look at the front page these days! It's all about the forum.
