Just a quick update, so I listed another one up on eBay (selling for a buddy in case anyone is wondering why I have so many) and the same person bought it. However, PayPal placed a hold on the payment and it is currently under review. The last payment he made processed just fine. Is this normal?
It is very possible that resellers are buying up stocks trying to corner the market and sell them for much more later since LEGO has basically said that they are not going to make anymore.
I use auctions when I have no idea how to value something. Anyone need a 2007 Legoland Windsor ruler for example? Thanks,
Other benefits include not having to time the end of auctions, the ability to adjust price and qty on the fly and general, comforting consistency of knowing exactly what $ you're going to get when it sells.
That said, as part of maximizing your position on Best Match (Google 'ebay cassini'), you should sprinkle in a few auctions here and there.
