BrickQueen done wrong on CUUSOO?

For anyone using LEGO CUUSOO who hasn't heard about this incident, I just wanted to bring it to your attention.

    That's tough. She's not having very good time of it. First the BTTF episode and now this.

    On a serious note, I do wonder what reasons are being given when flagging her projects. Surely the Cuusoo team can see when illegitimate flags are being made. Sounds like an automated ban to me and so it shouldn't take too long to get her back up and running.

    I would be very sad to hear if she has been the target of misogyny. It's rising fast on the internet and any woman can be a target. Communities must work hard to make sure it doesn't escalate.

    She was also accused on eurobricks on a different topic, preceding this incident. So looks like some kind of hate campaign.

    Before everyone forms a lynch mob for this other user, they should make 100% sure that he is the one who has done this and not some 3rd party trouble maker... It would be quite silly to come right out in the open like this and destroy someone with a huge fanbase...

    the mob is already going after the other Jurassic Park set on cuusoo, and cuusoo has responded but is not saying why one was banned and not the other

    From what I read earlier, there were quite a few of Brickqueen's people bashing on other projects... The person who they are planning on lynching has come out and said this:

    "Hi all,

    First of all I have to defend myself: I have not flagged, and I have asked nobody to do so.
    It is very unfortunate that this kind of vandalism has been done here. I'm very sorry for Brick Queen that her account has been banned most likely because of some trolls' reports as mentioned here. I hope that her account and projects with all supporters will be recover when things get clear."

    "I have to say what I already have stated here at very first comments: I think there is room for all Jurassic Park projects in CUUSOO. For example Brick Queens project is more a play set and mine is UCS style project mainly for display purposes. Both projects have its own advantages.


    I say this one more time, I never wanted anyone to be banned. Lego CUUSOO is very innovative and creative place and I hope we can together keep it friendly and positive also in future :)

    What do y'all think of the Cuusoo Team's comment?

    "Please forgive this off-topic remark. We'd like to address recent events and respond to peoples' comments today.

    Hi everyone. Our team has reviewed the activities of some LEGO CUUSOO users and found them in violation of our Terms of Service. For privacy reasons that's all we'll share. We've taken the necessary actions consistent with our policies."

    Specifically:

    "Our team has reviewed the activities of some LEGO CUUSOO users and found them in violation of our Terms of Service."

    It seems like they're referring to Brick Queen and standing by their decision, indicating it might not have been automated.

    But, like SilentMode has said, it's a pretty vague comment.

    Maybe fake accounts..? There were A LOT of people's accounts banned today for bashing... This is really making me wonder who attacked who...

    If the Cuusoo team remains silent on this and doesn't reinstate her account, I think that basically answers the questions...

    You could be right. But, as you said, Cuusoo still hasn't reinstated the account. They have acknowledged the situation with the comments. Who knows. We need all the info if we really want a say in it, which I doubt we'll ever get.

    I had JUSt seen this and was just about to make a thread myself! For one- I was touched deeply by this (long time subscriber) by just how upset she was in the video and this story. I've also long been supporting her. I have since gone to the support on cuusoo (will send when they come back to service after software update) I encourage everyone to do this as proof of her innocence despite their current comments (enough responses will get them to listen)
    Because I look forward to her next update were she tells us her account has been reposted and she'll start posting again.

    The abuse this woman has taken on Cuusoo is uncalled for. I couldn't finish the video because I couldn't bear to watch her being upset anymore :(. That said, if Cuusoo's Teamsaid she vviolated the Terms of Agreement, what can we do about it, especially if we don't know what part of the agreement she allegedly violated? Her disappointment is genuine, but outside getting a lawyer and suing, she might be out of luck.

    This happens on Xbox Live often. People get banned without warning and no explicit reason is given to why they were banned at times. It is your word against there and do you think you can go against Microsoft or even Lego? They have deep pockets.

    After reading the thread on Eurobricks: Unless the person (who claimed she was trying to pass off their design as her own) was able to alter the date modified dates of their Brickshelf gallery, it does seem a bit suspicious.

    Here is what most likely happened. BrickQueen got caught with bogus accounts bashing and supporting her own projects and got banned for it. Then made a bogus sob sympathy video claiming that she was being abused through email and then an army of her 12 year old gathered up on you tube and have been bashing all day. Grow up kiddies, she doesn;t wan tto date you. GREAT project here by the way. Love the T-Rex. Cannot wait for the next dinos!

    ^A fine case example. Plus a Youtube user said her was one of the people who flagged her and made very harassing and threatening comments towards whoever said something to him.
    I have since reported him.

    @binaryeye: Maybe, I try not take any side on that (apparently she said she modified it, and did not claim it was her own). The post was not exactly nicely written either, and then this happens. My point being I hope we don't see women especially targeted which is happening elsewhere and sometimes even escalating (seems like Youtube manages that without the misogyny though...)

    I understand that BrickQueen is rightly upset now but she should be a little more cautious on what she posts on Youtube. She essentially created a lynch mob of her 10-12 year old supporters with a bogus claim that she was banned because others had flagged her account in an effort to remove her from CUUSOO. (Would be extremely surprising if anyone could be banned that way.)

    To be honest I feel little sympathy for her. Mostly because of her annoying fanbase and secondly because of how she uses them as her 'army'. (Don't know how conscious it is on her part, I'm not following her channel actively. But that Hothbricks debacle was spectacular as well, and her video about that issue seemed manipulative to me.)

    The whole thing about her not being able to design because shes a woman is total bull. A woman designed Town Hall, Palace Cinema, Winter Village Market, etc!

    Some of the comments on her video are so over the top and immature that it is sickening...

    Kids talking about killing and death.. No wonder this world is so f***ed up..

    According to what is being said at Cuusoo, it is impossible to ban someone by flagging their account... Which is what I assumed in the first place...

    Just please bear in mind that the YouTube comment section is widely consider to be the most base and blatantly idiotic place to be found on the entire internet. Given some of the places out there that is saying a lot.

    Brickqueen or Drama queen? Between this and the hissy fit she threw over the Back to the Future set, I get the distinct feeling that she's got some psychological issues. Her behavior is not that of a rational adult and given her history of making mountains out of molehills I don't buy her claims in her video. This woman doesn't appear to be building with a full box of bricks.

    Im not entirely sure, but they said they were regarding the issue and she would hear back soon- their issue, not hers.

    Regardless of however this happened, I could see how anyone could be upset that all of their hard work they put into their own sets would just be gone.

    I have to be honest, if Cuusoo banned me and my project tomorrow, I wouldn't give 2 sh*ts and I guarantee that I have more time and money invested in mine than anyone in the top 10...

    I think it might be like when celebrities get bad publicity over things (real or misunderstanding) and the Leia thing was really more from a fan perspective of Star Wars (only once anyway) when reviewing such a coveted set as the Death Star.

    Some may disagree, but I doubt she (or anyone) would go so far as to get their account removed for publicity. Plus, if anyone else saw the rest of her videos, she does seem really down to earth,

    And were all here for the same reason- to talk about what we love. So I'd just really hate to put someone down for sharing it.

    I was just wondering if any of the big YouTube Lego people are on here. Is she a member? How about the guys on Brick Show? I have always wanted to talk with the guy from brickformula. He is hilarious.
