Hi fellow Lego enthusiast's,

Thought I'd introduce myself after using Brickset for a while now to help with my collecting. Very good posts on here so thought I'd join the fun.

I collect quite a few mini figures. I collect/have the mini figures series, olympic series, star wars, Marvel, DC Universe. Still collecting but enjoy every minute of it :)

Welcome to all the fun, it's a great place to hang out with lots of very friendly peoples :) Just watch out for @indigobox, he will soon be trying to convince you to spend more money on figures you never knew you needed before! No, I jest he is a great guy, but he will try and egg you on to spend money lol.

Welcome, Andy, as one minifig collector (of many of the same series) to another. As @indigobox said, there's a lot of us here. Just don't get sucked into unopened-polybag collecting - that's a dark pit with no bottom, take it from one who knows. ;-) Nah, I'm kidding, it's great fun.

More importantly, unless you have a trust fund or a lottery win, watch out for creeping thoughts that exclusive minifigs are a good thing to collect....if they occur, go and have an ice-cold shower until they go away. ;-))

@legobutterfly Thank you! already seen some really good posts on here about figures for next year so look forward to collecting them if any new ones :) I hope @indigobox doesn't egg me on to spend money I am easily convinced lol

@carlq I'm still young so its good not to have too many bills on my hands at the moment, though the mrs does tell me to stop and save! it's too addictive lol! Don't worry the creeping thoughts have been and gone along with some money, I have probably all of the exclusive minifigures from promo bags (obviously not ones from comic-cons as I live in the UK)...Funny you should say about the unopened-polybag collecting, my series 1-10 have all been unopened and identified when bought and 100% correct :) luck was on my side there :)
