Credit goes to ToysnBricks so thought I would post it here as well. YoYo.com is having a sale on Lego at 20% your total order if your order consists of 3 or more Lego sets. Use code "LEGO20!" at checkout. Free express shipping included. Max discount however of $50.

The selection is pretty good and there are even a few items reduced in price a little.

Do this work for existing accounts? It appears, according to yoyo.com's site, that this is for New Customers only

EDIT--Nevermind, I logged in and the discount is staying in the cart

Wanted to point out that #79111 Constitution Train Chase can be had for $72 with this promotion (28% off RRP) as it's listed at $89.99.

Cool thanks @itsnotme for saying something.
I bought a couple of Constitution train sets at $99.99 with the coupon (and some cavalry builder sets)earlier this week and did not get when the price dropped; I contacted yoyo customer service and they refunded me the difference in price for these.

#79111 is still listed at 89.99 and can use the 2%0 coupon on one item "20LABORDAY", so you can still get it a $72 and you don't have to buy 3 :)

^^^Likewise, thanks neomonkey. Took a little tinkering to become a "new customer", but mission accomplished!

    ^^^^Thanks Neomonkey.

I was able to get Helms Deep for $83.99 out the door using those codes!

I was able to get the new Cargo Terminal , Cargo Truck and Cargo Heliplane for $145
    Yellowcastle
  • nkx1nkx1 Member Posts: 719
^If it's not too late to cancel your order, you might consider doing so (assuming you were able to use both codes (20LABORDAY and NEXM4193). I got Cargo Terminal for $60 shipped + tax of $5 in CA. $145-$65 = $80. $80 for the Cargo Truck and Heliplane isn't all that great of a deal.

Not trying to rain on your parade, just saying you could save some money by buying the two smaller sets elsewhere.

I was just able to get the Sith Fury Interceptor for $51.59 with next day free shipping. That's about 43% off MSRP. Woop woop!

Did anyone else pay through Paypal and have the merchant listed as:
    "Diapers-Soap-Wag
    [email protected]"

    ?
  • margotmargot Member Posts: 2,308
Yes, look at their website, they are attached to wag.com, soap.com, diapers.com...

    That makes sense.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,791
Yes, that is what paypal shows (Diapers-Soap-Wag) and Yes I have gotten all of the merchandise I have ordered via yoyo.com :-)

Thanks for the heads up -- awesome. Nearly 50% off is well worth it.

the two current discount codes ( 20OFFTODAY & 20LABORDAY) seem to work differently, one is 20% off your entire order, the other is off your most expensive item up to $20) so you get the largest discount on something that's $100 or more... the question is #70520 or #70521 =-)

    They work the same way.
20LABORDAY gives you 20% off one item.
NEXM4193 gives you 20% off all items for new customers (up to a maximum of $20 off)

That's why you need a new account to be able to use both coupons.

CARL418758 will also give you 20% off your entire purchase for new customers (max $20)

    Is that your referral code?

Looks like they can no longer be combined

It is. NEXM4193 is also someones referral code. If it's not allowed, mods please delete my post.

20LABORDAY and 20OFFTODAY also stack (or did).

  • hoyatableshoyatables Member Posts: 873
you can also try DAVE430379 (for those trying to double up multiple times). There is also a generic 20offtoday code that only works for first-time customers.

    No its fine, just asking.

Doesn't seem to matter anyway. 20LABORDAY no longer works and no other codes stack with the free 2 day shipping offer which is automatically applied to your cart and you cannot remove it.

    DEAL IS DEAD!
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,791
Well, I would not say the deal is dead. It is more how it was intended I think.
I think they just closed the loophole since it seems many people were opening new accounts just to abuse the deals working together.

Dude on slickdeals called and ruined it

I have given up on yoyo deals for "new" customers. Never works, a lot of hassle for nothing.
  • tamamahmtamamahm Member Posts: 1,987
Well, hopefully the items will still ship at the price that things were ordered at.
I opened an account for my mom, and used all her info (her address, her card, her email), so she could get a set at the best price for my nephew for Christmas. (I often find it is much easier for me to do this online for my mom, instead of having my parents go online and try to work out all the details.) I had her go with them, since I could get her the best price.
  • GIR3691GIR3691 Member Posts: 674
I got a shipping confirmation a few hours after placing my order. Fingers crossed that it'll arrive today.

ordered Pirate Ship Ambush yesterday afternoon for $63 and it was here this morning. jeepers.
  • margotmargot Member Posts: 2,308
I was going to do the stack deal but I'm not a new customer so I didn't buy anything. Figured I would rather wait until tomorrow and get 2 freebies, no tax, and VIP points from [email protected] Works out about the same as the 20% off.

I ended up grabbing #70403 Dragon Mountain for $29.99 and my mother picked up #70404 King's Castle for $59.99 for my boys. (And both orders have shipped and will arrive Tuesday)
  • GIR3691GIR3691 Member Posts: 674
40% discount seems to have gone through, but the set arrived damaged because they put it at the bottom of a massive cardboard box and then stuffed the rest of the box with air pillows. You can pad the top all you want, the bottom will still be banged up when it arrives.

    ...Ugh.
  • nkx1nkx1 Member Posts: 719
^Yeah, mine arrived packed in the same way- a box way too tall with air pillows on top but not on bottom. I got lucky and my box arrived in good condition. You'd think they would want to save money on shipping and pack a thin Lego box in a thin shipping box. Quite odd.
