New Lego missiles

Looking as the new star wars sets I noticed that almost every set has one or more new spring powered missile. It appears to be a 1x4 brick with a hole for a missile, one could fit quite a few in a single vehicle.

Could TLG be replacing flick-fire missiles with these?
What are your thoughts?

Not sure if I'm a fan of that.

Many models get complicated technic-built workarounds to make the flick-fires work better and this would eliminate that. On one hand, that could free up a lot of internal space, leading to lighter, sturdier, more accurate models. On the other hand, pulling that extra stuff out is half the fun...and where I get the majority of my spare technic pieces!

I am not a fan of the handheld weapons at all. The missiles which are fitted into the vehicles however seem fine to me.

I wonder if the missiles will all be white like in the preliminary images or if they are going to be transparent colors like in this one appears to be.
