You're dead on! Okay so here's what I can remember from the images:
The Penguin Face-Off: Might be one of the best $13 LEGO sets ever. Comes with Batman, the Penguin and two robot penguin henchmen with dynamite. Batman has some sort of jet ski (I can't recall if it's similar to the polybag) and the Penguin has a duck-like flotation ride similar to the Batman Returns design.
The Man-Bat Attack: Batman, Robin (I thought it might've been Nightwing, but he looks really cool!) and Man-Bat. Really cool looking Bat-Helicopter. Could retail for $25
The Riddler Chase: We've all seen it.
The Joker Steam Roller: This is the one I'm most excited for. 5 total minifigures, but all I could make out was Batman and the Joker (purple hat included!). While the box art made it look like two heroes and three villians, I am not ruling out the possibility of the other hero being Nightwing. The Steam Roller looks ridiculously awesome, with a ton of great colors. Batman's vehicle is a jet, with similar wing functionality to that of the Republic Striker from the Old Republic Line
I cant wait until the images surface and its a serious bummer for my wallet. Lego Simpsons aswell has to fit on the budget, I better be getting more jobs. All of the sets IMO sound great, I hope the penguin is a different variation to the one atm and where is killer croc :-D
Other than that, sounds good, especially the steamroller, thanks for the info!
-Captain America the Winter Solider
-The Amazing Spider-Man 2
-Guardians of the Galaxy
Thor the Dark World sets this year please.
I'm also pretty stoked about a Man-Bat minifig, quite an understated villain and it's encouraging that they're showing signs of doing characters that are not 'marquee'.
Come on all ready with the pictures!
Clayface, Killer Croc, Ra's Al Ghul....yes. I'll be happy with a Penguin refresh and a Flash. Nightwing ftw!
In January there will be four DC Batman sets, featuring different villains.
There will also be two sets featured in the new LEGO Juniors line (like that name ever needed resurrecting…), targeting the characters at a younger audience. One will be a Spider-Man car and include Venom, the other will be a simple Batcave including Batman, Robin and the Joker.
For Marvel there will be three Spider-Man sets, including additional heroes and villains, released in March. There will also be two sets based on The Avengers.
In July there will be more Marvel sets, this time based on Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men to coincide with the release of the respective movies.''

But a resurrected Juniors line feels like wasted slots that could have been better spent on additional Superhero offerings =T
I'm crossing my fingers that the X-Men sets are classic though with Cyclops, Gambit, Colossus, Rogue, and Nightcrawler!
@vwong13
Maybe Christmas 2013
Isn't the X-Men movie to be based on Days of Future Past? That should be an interesting set of minifigs. Yay, old Wolverine! The Guardians of the Galaxy sets are going to be awesome no matter what lol.
Or sets loosely based on those films but with a few of the other familiar faces thrown in for good luck (we've seen from the Iron Man 3 sets that they seem to be 'inspired by' rather than relating directly to their movie licences).
With all the momentum LEGO currently has with the minifigure as an icon, all the licensed minifigures that have been recently released, and the upcoming LEGO Movie pushing it even further into public awareness, I'd be surprised if they break from the standard minifigure.
I read more DC than Marvel, which has been reflected in my LEGO collecting habits. Guardians is a great series, though, so I think they will be my first foray into Marvel minifigures.
-3 sets for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as we got a Conic Con preview minifigure
-2 sets for Captain America The Winter Solider
-3 sets for Guardians of the Galaxy
-X-Men, Days of Future Past
Why? because my super heroes need people to SAVE from the baddies, (or people for the baddies to terrorize), and I don't like using my classic heads with new realistic ones in the same street scene.
Also: Peter Parker and Clark Kent in 'not-hero' form.
