Hello from Chicago!

Hi,
I'm Comicblast! I've been using Brickset, increasingly more often for articles that I have written for BrickPicker.com, where I am a very active user (with 1,600+ posts!). I finally decided to become a member! We often get news over at BrickPicker from Huw, and other great members over here.

Welcome! I saw that you experienced a bit of flack in one of the other threads but you handled it well. I haven't checked out brickpicker.com but I'll try to in the near future. Do you actually live in Chicago?

Thanks for the welcome. It wasn't exactly the warmest welcome in that thread, or best first impression, but I have moved on. I am actually located in Chicago. We have a whole bunch of Targets, but only one Walmart that doesn't carry LEGO. :P

That's cool - I just asked about Chicago since it is so much easier to say 'I live in Chicago' and have people understand as opposed to 'I live in Rockford or Oak Park.' Majority of posters here are pretty cool and those that aren't = its the Internet.

^ That's what I do. I live in a small town west of Rockford. When asked where I live I say Chicago and then, if asked, narrow it down from there.
