^You've just captured the heart of nearly every order I've made on BNP. "Not sure why I need this, but I feel like I do." - Add to cart.

Something like sheep just beg to be ordered!

I finally was able to order some sheep.  Add the 15 pigs I got from BaM on AFOL day and the cows I already have and I've got a pretty good farm population going.
  • Lo1sJessLo1sJess Member Posts: 641
Been checking for cows (again not sure why but feel the need to have them) but no luck so far on BNPs.
  • pxchrispxchris Member Posts: 2,342
The cow hasn't been in production since 2014 unfortunately (the black & white once since 2009!) so you certainly won't find it on B&P. It's certainly overdue for a comeback though. Yet another one of the stupid expensive animal molds in the aftermarket.

got sheep last night but forgot to make purchase equal to GWP level - I was $8 short!  I didn’t even know about replacement parts until a couple of weeks ago from this forum and now I’ve already placed 4 orders.  Two came today and I had fun sorting.  Now have parts to expand the HP dorms and for a yet to be designed and built gingerbread house. Not sure why I felt the need to have the sheep I just went with the impulse.

Have fun going down the B&P rabbit hole! Between B&P, PaB and BrickLink, there's always more parts to order...

Just keep in mind that B&P purchases do not qualify for the GWP threshold. (PaB does)

    good to know, thanks!

It’s also wise to check to see if the part is available from both PaB and B&P, because sometimes it will be cheaper on one of them, and those savings add up for large quantities.

Has anyone got their sheep they recently ordered.  My order said they shipped on 11/12 and I still haven't received them.  I've been billed, so I assume they were in stock and processed to be shipped.
  • Lo1sJessLo1sJess Member Posts: 641
No arrival of sheep here either or reindeer
  • mtpelepelemtpelepele Member Posts: 34
In the US, they are shipped by USPS, which is incredibly slow right now. Expect it between a week and 2 weeks after you're billed.
  • MalkanMalkan Member Posts: 64
Haven't received mine yet, but I'm pretty sure it's showing up on USPS informed delivery. I have a package that shows as waiting to receive from DHL that was received on my invoice date in NJ (this is where parts orders seem to come from). If you're signed up for informed delivery then you could try checking there

Just got stack of mail from yesterday and the sheep were there.  Looks like they were sent out by Lego on 9th.

I typically get my orders 10-14 days after they say it shipped (you can also double check the order at LEGO.com and see the shipping date to confirm).

I got my last order of some more sheep (because... why not, amiright?) yesterday. Relatively quick shipping turn around this time.

I ordered some parts for another small winter village set and had them arrive extremely fast from BnP (despite the warnings it would take forever). Considering I've had the opposite luck on my last few [email protected] orders, I wasn't going to argue or think twice about how fast they came.
  • BastyBasty Member Posts: 494
I just order some replacement instructions because the ones I recieved were rather mangeled and got an email the following day to say it has been dispatched, which I thought was very very quick. How long it takes to arrive that is another question.

My order placed on the 15th for some letter tiles from the Typewriter along with some miscellaneous odds and sods has been "shipped" with the individual entries reporting "in warehouse". Probably means they've not shipped yet...

My sheep arrived yesterday.  About an average delivery time for a Bricks & Pieces order.

The sheep - that only came in one set so far - is probably one of the best selling items on the TLG replacement section. Speaking about sheep, last Saturday a sheep ran across a road when I went to the groceries and she was hit by a bus...  All traffic came to a halt. I didn't care to have a closer look but I felt sad. (Yeah I live in a rural area.)
I'll have to do with my replacements and that's a good thing. I will remember you stupid sheep that crossed the road!

I reckon the Black Falcons torso and shield, and maybe even the legs, sell in larger volumes.

That would be an interesting fact to know from the source... because while the Black Falcons parts are certainly popular and have absolutely sold in high volumes, I have seen the sheep popping up everywhere from people. The sheep have a more general appeal (city, medieval, pirates, etc, etc) vs. the BF parts.
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,526
The torsos are also staying in stock longer now, whereas they used to sell out in under an hour once replenished for the first few months. The sheep are a bit behind in timescale, and will probably follow a similar trend.
  • brickedinbrickedin Member Posts: 564
Sheep and a variety of other animals available again in UK. Black falcon parts also.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,761
Sheep are back in stock as well as the kittens, and the turtle, as well as the black sausage
  • pxchrispxchris Member Posts: 2,342
The sheep have been in constant stock (at least from what I've seen from regular checks using BrickHunter) for a couple of weeks now. So we've seemingly crested that peek of them being constantly bought out by folks.
I have open orders for a lot of the other new animals such as the squirrels, kittens, and turtles but I'm not really expecting to see those orders come in for quite a few more weeks.

Yeah, I just got an 'update' email each order I have placed in the last two months reporting that they are still working to get them out.

I just had to wait by far the longest I've ever had to wait for BnP. Ordered December 28th, arrived yesterday - February 10th.

@Brainslugged - so there is hope for seeing the first of 4 orders I placed starting Dec 30th.

They finally shipped my Dec. 27 order and USPS tracking shows it may be inbound to Denver from New Jersey as of yesterday.  My January 10 order is still in warehouse and I got the sorry to keep you waiting e-mail this morning.
  • PDelahantyPDelahanty Member Posts: 308
I have a December 30th order that has shipped...but because I ordered other stuff that was delivered already, I can't track it.  The order only has the tracking number for the non-pieces part of the order.

Oh crud! I got an email too, but my order was from Jan 11th, you guys are all way in front if me.
  • MattDawsonMattDawson Member Posts: 1,469
I've had an email from the team regarding my order from Jan 19th. They've not even shipped the parts yet, possibly due to this merger/migration.

I doubt it is even near the front of the queue for being picked yet, let alone shipped.

If you have an account with USPS for Informed Delivery you can look for incoming parcels through that once Lego actually changes status to shipped.  Mine always up show as coming from DHL ECommerce and usually arrive in Avenel, NJ before traveling across the country in the postal system.  Just got notice that mine from Dec. 27 is out for delivery today and I already got the sets I had on that order back at the beginning of January.

I received my December 20th order yesterday as well as getting the emails on my other 3 open orders. The good thing is that there is nothing in any of those orders I was desperately waiting on for a MOC for Bricks Cascade. They're mostly just parts I wanted to add into the collection (a lot of animals).

Yeah, one order I had penguins in.. and then they appeared in the local LEGO store BaM bar again.

I was in this situation as well.

So my late December order did arrive today but the 50 Reddish-brown profile bricks were missing from the order although I was charged for them.  Everything else was there including an extra butterfly, red Elf hat, 2x2 box in one of the colors I ordered & 3 extra Coral 1x4 profile bricks.  Not enough to make up for the 50 missing bricks so I placed a call to CS.  They only had 17 of the missing ones in stock so I told them I was okay with waiting for their March restock.  They gave me some bonus VIP points for my inconvenience.

The order I received had a number of extra parts as well, which in my experience so far is definitely a rarity. Thankfully I wasn't missing anything though.

I also got a few extras of some of the pieces I ordered (so maybe 43 when I ordered 40). All the parts I'd ordered were pretty small, but while checking them I suddenly realised that I kept having to move this giant samd green piece out of my way (which I definitely hadn't ordered).

My December 31st order arrived yesterday, February 14th.
  • karritkarrit Member Posts: 907
That half cone is a nice piece to get as a freebie!  There never seems to be any rhyme or reason to the occasional extras that might show up.  One would think it more of a possibility with stuff like the 1x1 tiles & plates or the small window glass or window grates but the Cone or the extra Elf hat & 1x4's that I got sure are a big surprise.  I had another order a while back that had an oddball piece I didn't order (don't remember what it was) and another that had almost double the amount of olive green 1x2 profile bricks that I had ordered.

This reminded me of the time I ordered 60 LBG masonry bricks from the local lego shop with in store pickup. They called me 2 hrs later that the packge is ready. Went to the store, lady brings a rather large yellow lego plastic bag, i ask if is this my order. She says, yes of course. I take it thinking that 60 bricks seem to have a lot more volume that i'd expect. I go home, I open the bag and start counting them... All the way up to 310 pieces. God knows what they did when they prepped it for me.
