I will say this, It seems like LEGO has been shipping the orders much faster. I wonder if they have more part distribution locations or if they are just sending them with faster shipping options...

Yes, I noticed the faster shipping as well. Already got one of the BnP orders I made, and am expecting the other shortly.

Interesting! I'm in ID, now (praise God! It's SO beautiful here!) and shipping doesn't seem any faster.

Just discovered this thread. Could you guys give part numbers for those nice parts?

@Brickfan50 do you mean the animals ?

If you just search Brickset for this years City sets with animals in and type in the set numbers on the ‘buy replacement bricks’ part of the Lego site it’ll work.

I find design ids are easier to work with and keep me apprised of color variants.  I also realized that there are 2 diff monkeys.

    ^ No problem Brickfan 👍🏻

@Yellowcastle good spot and thanks. I completely missed the other monkey and will have to add it to my wants list.

Its 6341535 if anyone needs the part number and for Yellowcastle the Design number/id number is 77993 😉

In stock in the UK too, shame most of the other animals aren’t.

I didn't realize that at first either! Luckily I figured it out before I completed my order. FYI - the monkey's are dual molded as well! They're a pretty impressive (and cute) piece.

A great improvement on the BAP process would be to display the images of the parts you ordered on the order details page or separately launched/linked page.  The name/part number is sometimes sufficient, but image would be helpful especially if you are making a subsequent order and your first hasn't arrived yet (to better prevent duplication).

^ This.  I have had such a difficult time keeping track of what I have and have not ordered.

The last time I added a PAB part to my order to bump it up to $35 this is what I received.

I feel like some LEGO worker had a laugh about this.

Was just trying some things with Brickhunter, and found out you can no long order @ PaB for less than €18? Also tried to add 1 brick to an order (e.g. to get to a GWP-threshold, as was a pretty known to do so) of multiple sets (went from 199,95 to 200,50 with that), but wouldn't do so.

BnP still allows for 1 brick to be bought, but those usually don't count towards GWP etc?
Anyone seen this yet? @Tkatt didn't, i guess?

Also, when working BnP, it would be so great to be able to search another design/brick from an earlier search result. Now, you need to press “back” first, causing me to hold my breath every time, especially when entering a large order...

I've always assumed BnP was designed to discourage people from using it. It's like LEGO says "Sure we'll sell you individual parts", but they'd rather you just bought the entire set those parts came in.

I've always wondered this when using the service, mainly because I always use the obscure text link at the bottom of the home page ("missing pieces" or something) like you're accessing some secret area. Unless I'm missing a more obvious access route.

I've wondered this myself. Just the other day I had meticulously put together my order, clicked the purchase button, then got kicked to the homepage with everything wiped out. Even a simple shopping cart that works would be nice.

If you use Brickhunter to benchmark prices of BnP/PaB for your BL-wanted list(s), you can simply add all bricks you need to a BnP Shopping cart at once, so no need to search in BnP itself.

(again, I have NO commercial or other interest in BH)

Being new to Brickhunter maybe I'm missing it, but is there a way to get the average bricklink price (new parts) to be visible next to the BaP and PAB prices?  That would be the ultimate price comparison tool!

Not as far as I know (but I am not a pro...),  unfortunately.

This seemed like the most appropriate place to ask...

Is there some trick to getting a BrickHunter parts list to export and import onto a different computer? I can't get anything I export to then import for the life of me.

BrickHunter is a fantastic little extension, but there is definitely room for improvement, being able to sync across multiple devices being one!

I export my lists as xml then import that into BrickHunter.  You should be able to throw the xml into a shared place to access it on another device.
  • eMJeeNLeMJeeNL Member Posts: 781
Indeed, you can export a BrickLink XML from BH and import it at BL and use it across multiple devices.

I was specifically asking about exporting from one instance of BH on one computer and importing the parts list into another instance of BH on a different computer. I've exported the parts list from BH a few different ways, but the import will never go through (the import button isn't even activated).

I ordered a bunch of the new road plates (8x16) so I can use them along with one 16x16 and one crosswalk piece (8x16) to complete some road MILs.

Have you made any train crossings with the road plates yet?

Not yet.  I'm waiting on a lot of parts (including baseplates) to build.  Not sure how I'm going to handle crossings yet.  I'll need to raise the roads to match the the track:

Track - baseplate; brick; plate; plate; track
Roads - baseplate; plate; road plate (so the height of a brick)

Has anyone been able to purchase the back end of the elephant, 77071, on BnP? There's a Bricklink seller in (I presume) Toronto who has 100, 80, and 8 in 3 separate listings.

No, still showing not available in the US and with no price.
But the head is on B&P, so I'm kinda hoping the rest will come up eventually.

All the elephant parts were available when the City sets were first released.

Not in north america they weren't.

Some folks were able to call customer service, with mixed results, and get them ordered, but the adult elephant parts were never available directly through B&P. Only now is the head available, but body is not.

got sheep last night but forgot to make purchase equal to GWP level - I was $8 short!  I didn’t even know about replacement parts until a couple of weeks ago from this forum and now I’ve already placed 4 orders.  Two came today and I had fun sorting.  Now have parts to expand the HP dorms and for a yet to be designed and built gingerbread house. Not sure why I felt the need to have the sheep I just went with the impulse.
