Well, I just hastily placed my order: 4 horses, 11 knights, 1 golden Master Wu, 4 orange classic space helmets. I also snagged a few random parts as I passed them. I didn't want to wait around too long and miss them there horses again  ;)

That was the first LEGO order I made without calculating the costs before my purchase.

If Master Wu's legs were on the site before, they are gone now. Won't pull up for me.

Woah those did go fast... I would have expected the horse to go first. I'm surprised the horse is still available.

@NicksBricks you're right, they aren't on there. Just checked. Even if they were present, I was so rushed I would have missed them anyway. Bummer! I guess some plain pear gold legs will have to do for me.

No prob @Cymbeline! Glad to be of help    :)

The torsos are regularly restocked but sell out within minutes. I get a price/stock alert a few times a week.

Those are 1x3x6 panels with studs on the side... I didn’t remember ordering them, and looking back at my order it turns out I didn’t!  I received everything else, so they are either a bonus or some poor customer is out 4 pieces...

Just finished sorting a couple BnP deliveries and one PAB delivery.  The BnP shipments were perfect or near perfect.  For the PAB order, 24 of the 41 lines were over/under.  That’s hands down the worst I’ve seen to date.

@Yellowcastle What was your experience with delivery times from the BnP service, btw?
I made my first two orders with BnP on the same day (May 10th) and I'm still waiting on one.  Both orders were similar in size and scope.

^ my order from the end of March took 5 weeks
  • mustang69mustang69 Member Posts: 544
The tan horses I ordered from BnPs arrived in about 3 to 4 weeks. I ordered on May 3rd and they showed up around the end of May.

Both BnP and PAB have been in the 4/5 week range for me.  They may be imposing a BURP penalty on me, though. Lol

Most of the new animals are available on BnP right now, including the sheep, lions, monkeys, and baby elephant (but not the adult elephant).

Any clue on how they decide on the prices? Assume it's a combo of production costs, availability but then it'll be like 2.78 or something random. Why not round it up? So it feels like it's more precise and you're buying things 'at cost', but then why do some small parts cost so much?
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,761
My guess is it all has to do with currency conversion. I do know that some parts drop in price after they are out for a while.

The elephant calf was available briefly at the beginning of June in the UK but by the time I’d got through to Lego CS to see if I could order the other animals it was out of stock.

I was told that all the animals would be in stock in the UK by the 29th June though.

I keep on looking... even though I didn't order any more when they became available again last night. I think I'm satisfied with my first order of them (so I say... until they show up and I decide I need a whole New Zealand sized flock of them...).

Reading this thread, I just realised- I never did get my replacement part that was substituted on the Elf house (2x1 curved plate - like 2 hollow studs put together) - one of them for the chimney build was pink and not grey. Phoned Lego about 10 days before Xmas and the friendly lass said one was on its way.

I almost pulled the trigger on those blue and brown Road Plate sections but then struggled to imagine what I could do with them... 😕

Hmm, It appears we can modify an existing part order that is in the cart again (at least there was a while where I would try and get an error).

I don't know how it is for other countries, but for mine it has been like this for a while:
    - I use the main LEGO website in English (even though now there's the Portuguese option)
    - I go to B&P, say that I'm from Portugal when I have to choose the country, and choose the parts I want, add everything to the main cart
    - if I want to edit the parts, as I use the English version of the main site, I get an error when I click the edit link
    - to edit the B&P order, first I have to change the language to Portuguese and only then can I successfuly edit the items

Maybe it will be of help to somebody else.

I ordered 25 sheep.  I had more in my cart to qualify for the GWP, but then realized BnP did not qualify.  Oh well.
