Wanted: Hogwarts castle 4842

Hello, I'm new posting here, been observing for a while. I've been on the hunt for a hogwarts 4842, but see a big difference between sets on amazon or eBay and brick link, BL being cheaper. Is this typical? Anyone have one they want to part with?

I have one I would be willing to sell for $278 plus shipping. I am located in the USA. Hit me up if you are interested.

BL is usually cheaper because the fees are lower.

    6% on BL
    13% on eBay
    17% (on average) on Amazon

(the above figures include PayPal fees, Amazon varies because they have multiple fees that are different for different items)

The price also has to be higher on eBay and Amazon because of buyer protection, and Amazon because of required return policies.

^ Yea, this set really surprised... I had a few, but not nearly enough and they are already gone.

When you can double your money in less than 6 months, I'll usually take that deal.

Will they go higher? Yes, probably, but 2x in 6 months is a great rate of return. :)

If you live in the UK:

-I went to the Warner Bros Studio Tour in October 2012 and they had them for retail price, but it may have changed?!
-You could try the Kings Cross Harry Potter Shop

    Hope it helps :)

This set wasn't retired yet in Oct 2012. :) It is now 6 months post retirement, those are all long gone.

I think it hits $300-$350 eventually.. It's the iconic HP Lego set and I think pricewise it may pass Diagon Alley.
