Wanted: 10189 Taj Mahal - Lust and Madness (to buy)

That is how I feel about getting a #10189 Taj Mahal. However, very nice, very understanding Mr. Klatu003 would get "the look", if I buy one at secondary market prices ($750 used recently on ebay for example.) So I went to Bricklink and started looking for all those white turntables. One seller has 49 of them for $1 each, everyone else as one or two maybe seven. Looks like that path would build up $$ rather quickly before 203 showed up. Unlike my cobbled together Cafe Corner, the pieces really have to be white.

Is it possible that anyone here would have a somewhat less than complete, less than perfect non-boxed, non-instructioned set they would like to unload? I just want to build it, it doesn't have to be perfect.

Advise me - should I just look forward to Sydney Opera House outside of some garage sale uber-luck?

I sold mine a few months back as I never want to build that again. It is the most repetitive set I have ever built, and it's footprint is too large to display. If it where my money I would pass.

I am pretty sure s&h had the turntables, at least a few months ago. Check there first.
