[US] Meijer Clearance

I realize Meijer is regional and also likely to vary from store to store, but thought I'd post anyway.

My local store has the entire Monster Fighters line on clearance, though they carry only the sub-$100 sets:
Swamp Creature - $5.24 (25% off)
Mummy - $6.00 (50% off)
Werewolf - $14.99 (25% off)
Vampyre Hearse - $26.24 (25% off)
Crazy Scientist... - $34.99 (30% off)
Ghost Train - $59.99 (25% off)

I realize most of that isn't better than Amazon's normal prices, but Meijer will occasionally do an "additional 25% off the clearance price" sale, so it might be worth checking your store.

They also have The Hobbit game for $17.50 (50% off).

My Meijer had those same MF sets, but I picked up 4203 Excavator Transporter for $29.99 and 4436 Patrol Car for $8.24. I'm located near Chicago, IL - SW 'burbs.

Yeah, mine also has those sets on clearance, along with some other City sets and the Batman/Catwoman set. I couldn't remember the exact discounts, though, so I didn't want to post misinformation. I think the Batman set was $8.99. I'm a couple hours south in Champaign.

My Meijer also had a Ninjago set on clearance, #9447-1: Lasha's Bite Cycle for around $18, I can't remember the exact price.

The discounts at my meijer were a little better. I picked up the hearse for 17. They were out of all the MF except the hearse and mummy.

I wish the Hearse was that cheap at my local Meijer stores. With the 15% off coupon this weekend would have made that pretty sweet indeed!

I imagine this varies from store to store, but my local Meijer has an additional 25% off all clearance toys until the end of the month. It might be worth checking if you've got one in your area.

Unfortunately, the only decent clearance LEGO at my local store is The Hobbit game at 50% (which comes in at ~$13 with the extra discount). However, they haven't put any of the new sets out yet, so hopefully some of the existing stock will be put on clearance before the end of the month.
