I ended up getting a few Vampyre Hearses for $13 and a couple Republic Strikers for $17 when free shipping was still available.

I managed to get one today. The in-store pickup option was not available online, but I found one at my local Kmart and convinced the manager to sell to me for the online price. Apparently Kmart does not match their online price, but I argued (politely) that the system said that the store did not have any in stock and that if there were some in stock I could have purchased online for store pickup. Hearse for $13 is a good deal!

You had much better luck then me. My K-mart wouldnt price match at all and when I tried to show him the Republic Striker it had already been pulled from the website.

My K-mart had 5 Hearse kits and 3 Strikers. The manager laughed at me and told me company policy is to NOT match online pricing, store pickup or not.

@Milcheax - I have had moderate success arguing this in the past. There used to be some language on the Kmart website (which has to be the worst of any major retailer, by the way) that stated they wouldn't match online prices in-store but that the in store pick up should be available if the item was in stock. I was able to convince a few store managers that they should match the the price because they clearly had them in stock and the system should have allowed the in store pick up option. Always was polite and seemed to work about half the time.

K-Mart actually has managers? I would never guess that based on how shoddy their stores always look.
