I will have to say this belongs in the Marketplace thread. Also, it would be helpful for you if you just didn't get on the forum to try to sell your Lego. Participation goes a long way here. We don't really know a lot about you and most of us would feel uncomfortable buying from you. Just a suggestion :)

^ While that is all true, the fact that he/she is trying to sell a $50 item makes me feel a whole lot better, plus there is a picture! How many times do we see new people trying to sell without pictures?

If I were looking for that set and liked the price, I'd take a chance on $50 since a picture was included.

Yes, just as an example, @starfire2 has been here since early 2011, he has almost a thousand posts here... if he wanted to sell a set, I'm not going to run all over worried that he'll be here today, gone tomorrow... he has contributed to the community, to the conversation here...

While it is true that you registered almost a year ago, you have 6 posts in that time. That isn't really being involved in the community.

A thousand pardons... I'm so sorry...

btw, just an idea... but you should really make your avatar something that makes that obvious... not saying it has to be pink, but how about a Friends set image? :)

That would be great if I knew how to do that. I am somewhat computer illiterate.

    :) No worries...

Click your name at the top of the page, right next to "Inbox". Then mouse over your picture on that page to the right, you'll see "change picture" highlight at the top of your image.

Just pick any file on your computer... If you want to use an image from the web, just browse to that image, right click on it and choose "save as" or something similar. It should save to about the same place as the change picture option opens up to.

Is that a male hand in your avatar? It's difficult to tell.

:) Fine, I'll go stand in the corner... give me my dunce cap!

In fairness, I complimented the OP by pointing out that a picture was provided and that the asking price was reasonable for a new seller, and that I would take a chance on it.

I thought that was sort of helpful. :)

@Yellowcastle. I was wondering where this thread went to. Yes, I do know better. I'm sorry. Not that it happens a lot, but there have been a few transactions that have gone bad and I guess it was just trying to be helpful.
