off -brand but playmobil have just launched series 1 figs - 12 for boys in blue packs and 12 for girls in pink packs. was the same price as S4 lego minifigs at 1.77 in my local metro. (I hate stuff marketed for girls in pink so wont be buying any for my daughter ;-) )

This could get interesting in Lego's biggest market as S5 is marked in the H2 catalogue at 2,49 euro each. guess this means a world wide 20% hike.

the new train set is now 20 euro cheaper than the one it replaces but doesnt look anywhere near as good...
